How much does he earn, then? That’s the issue. Why pay junior coaches, senior player rates?

We'll be field-ing offers for him in the window...Why? He oats us nothing
All as a sub with 5 minutes or less to go in the game. Now you've corn and done it. I'll be amaized if he plays 10 games.
Yeah, ok.How much does he earn, then?
…..but you have no idea of his contract detailsYeah, ok.
But international players generally get paid a lot more than junior coaches, right?
If Milner had retired and we had added him to the back room staff that would make a lot of sense.
Or he had left and gone to a less demanding league.
But to increase his stay as a player here makes little sense.
And to justify it by praising his non-playing attributes makes even less sense.
Remember, somewhere along the line a young player will be released to make way for old, battered James. That seems wrong to me.
As I understand it It‘s in his capacity as a player.…..but you have no idea of his contract details![]()
It’s also well documented that Milner is the ultimate role model, and that the club tend to make good decisions so I’m team Milner on this one.As I understand it It‘s in his capacity as a player.
It is well documented that Premier League players are well compensated.
That‘s neither here nor there when it comes to being recruited as a player. Because players are there to play. It’s also well documented that Milner is the ultimate role model, and that the club tend to make good decisions so I’m team Milner on this one.
Presume he’ll be combining playing and coaching. We'll be field-ing offers for him in the window...
Contributing to our medical bills yeah...?If only he was contributing off the pitch in some way![]()
If they're the games we are winning or drawing and need an experienced head to see out the game successfully I will be delighted with that. All as a sub with 5 minutes or less to go in the game.
Maybe stop for a second and ask your smug self what return Bloom got for presumably the same kind of outlay this season just goneThe idea that Bloom is happy to sanction a couple of million quid or so on somebody who is basically a cheerleader is, quite frankly, f***ing ludicrous.
If Bloom thinks Milner is worth whatever a year’s contract is, then that is good enough for me. I’m not going to pass judgement with no inside knowledge of the deal whatsoever, or Milner’s fitness level, because I’m not a moron.
This has to be positive news.
Thank you, I missed this. Makes sense now. I’m glad he’s made a recovery and earned a new contract![]()
