Nadal fades and another Spaniard arrives!
Not won this yet though, every point is a battle. Some absolutely amazing tennis being played.
Every time R5 mention “Roland Garros” …. endlessly for weeks beforehand and during, I change channels in a microsecond

He’s very good but I doubt he’ll eclipse those three. I hope though that he, Sinner, Zverev et al and can provide a new group to thrill us tennis fans as much as the others did. It’s a brilliant sport

Unlike yesterday's puerile performance of head-mental histrionics, crap body language and seventy unforced errors by Sabalenka v cool calm collected Coco Gauff, today's mens final is pretty damn near flawless tennis by Sinner and Alcaraz. Could be be a long afternoon - for all the best reasons

Not at all good news that Sinner is getting medical treatment for a blister on his foot - and visibly limping - this early in the match

But, even more impressive is the sportsmanship. Sinner calling two balls against him in when the line judge had called them out when he was on the brink of winning. Footballers could learn a lot from such fantastic sportsmanship
As an Alcaraz fan I will not be gutted if Sinner wins this.
