PSG awesome but since when does the ref have the power to decide that just because a team is five nil up he gives no added time at all? There should’ve been at least five or six minutes with the substitutions and the goals.

Football matches need an independent timekeeper.
It's a joke isn't it? PSG could gave added to their goal tally.

Weird that the football authorities are determined to make refereeing decisions 'objective' as possible, through the use of VAR, even though there will always be a degree of subjectivity, yet time-keeping - which they could easily objectively monitor - is often random or, in this case, decided on the whim of the referee.

I've seen it happen in Champions League matches in the past where a team's been 7-0 up. Specifically I'm thinking of a group game between Liverpool and some eastern European team about 7 or 8 years ago.

If the scoreline's 5-0 or greater and there's nothing riding on the goal difference then I don't have a problem with it.

Could both teams have given the nod to the ref that they would be happy to end 'early'?

Shocking scenes to be honest

"Two people have died and hundreds have been arrested amid raucous celebrations after Paris Saint-Germain’s Champion’s League final victory.

Cars were torched as flares and fireworks were set off while supporters clashed with police in the French capital on Saturday night after the match in Munich."

What if you had a bet on PSG winning 6-0?

Wouldn’t be the first time. I read that at the end of the Euro 2012 final when Spain gave Italy a 4-0 hammering, the Spanish players were telling the ref to just end it as Italy couldn’t get anywhere near the ball.

Inzaghi is being linked with the Spurs job today. That Inter performance would suggest he’s the perfect fit.

Imagine how furious Big Ange will be if Levy sacks him after his “OUTSTANDING” season. Mate.

Would you have been that phlegmatic if the score was 5-0 and you thought there would be at least 8 minutes added time?
I guess I'd be about as pissed off as if I'd put money on 5-0 and then another goal was conceded when I thought too much time had been added.

I like to think I'd still be relaxed about it, although I don't gamble or bet on things so it's not something I can answer. I don't think sport should be run to suit the gamblers and the gambling industry, and if somebody had pulled up with an injury towards the end of 6 or so pointless additional minutes they'd quite reasonably be questioning why they were still out there.
