7 or 8 of those listed won’t play for us again.

Only debatable ones are Ferguson or Buonanotte although if a good offer came in for either then they would be on the way out too.

Ones which are almost certain to leave are:
Enciso
Barco
Sima
Moran
Cozier-Duberry
Sarmiento

I was gutted to see Facu out on loan last season. Really hope he can make FH’s squad. Sorry that Barco and Enciso seem to be on their way out, but neither seem to have the attitude to thrive here.

Maybe a half season of playing followed by a half season of maltreatment by Horse Face will have convinced him that Albion is where he wants to be. If Ayari can do it I have no doubt Facu can too 🤞

What makes you think Cozier-Duberry’s almost certain to leave (unless you’re saying he’ll go out in loan again?) Only signed him last summer and just turned 20 a few days ago. Can’t recall us ever discarding a player that young quite so early in their Albion career after one underwhelming loan spell.

Don’t think for one moment he’ll be in the first team squad next season but another loan seems almost definite, in the hope he’ll show a bit more of the potential that prompted us to sign him relatively recently.

Odd one, I can’t imagine he left Arsenal to come to us to be loaned out for a couple of seasons. He could have done that at Arsenal. I imagine he was hoping for a route into our first team squad? If that isn’t going to happen he may well be shipped out imo.

Still feels too early for all parties given he’s so early in his development with regards to getting senior minutes under his belt. I’d be amazed if he doesn’t get another loan out, maybe abroad somewhere instead.

I think he will be one of those players (like Ayari has been) that thrives when playing in better teams with better players. He was really good last pre season. Perhaps it’s worth giving him a go in our first team

Enciso off? Not so sure - Hurzeler on Enciso: "We all know he can do unbelievable things during the game. He can decide the game with one action. For me it is also important how he behaves as a team-mate. How he defends as a team-mate. We have got some positive feedback." (see https://www.northstandchat.com/thre...e-tracker-thread.408699/page-71#post-11612107 }
There aren't many players who can do that. If he can learn to do a bit more defensive stuff it would be a big call to let someone who can turn a game in a moment go.

If you look into his background he very much could NOT have done that at Arsenal without signing a new contract with the club first - Arsenal wouldn’t send him out on loan otherwise and he chose not to commit his future to the club, probably due to the low likelihood of breaking into the first team.
