PSG awesome but since when does the ref have the power to decide that just because a team is five nil up he gives no added time at all? There should’ve been at least five or six minutes with the substitutions and the goals.

Football matches need an independent timekeeper.
Totally agree. Absolutely disgraceful and seriously hope he gets reprimanded - refs are supposed to be totally impartial. Million to 1 odds but they could physically have scored 5 goals in 6+ minutes added on.

And not to mention I would have loved to see another few minutes of that poetry in motion!

I can't remember EVER seeing a team playing football with that much energy, directness, commitment, crispness of passing, speed and finishing. Just breathtaking for such a young team. Phenomenal.

"I remember an incredible photo I have with Xana after winning the Champions League, planting a Barcelona flag on the pitch. I wish I could do the same with PSG. My daughter won't be there physically, but she will be there spiritually. And that is very important to me," said Luis Enrique before the final of the #ChampionsLeague .

After the consecration, the fans of the Parisian team unfurled this flag for the Spanish coach.

NO, IT'S NOT JUST FOOTBALL

His interview about his daughter from a few years ago is both inspirational and heartbreaking. Seems like a great man as well as coach and whatever my misgivings about their ownership I’m delighted for him. And what a team he’s built

But it happens in park football. I've seen refs blow up the game before 90 minutes are up. I remember playing in a game when we were losing 17-0 and the ref ended it after 80 minutes to save us from getting a bit of a thrashing. I think that in professional games, as long as 90 minutes are being played, it's fine to end it early when the result isn't in doubt.
Is Doue actually better than Yamal?! This performance has been outrageous.

Yer that really pissed me off. That's not in the rules of the game surely. Utterly bizarre. And what about people who had bets on other things happening in the game? There was at least 5 minutes to be added on.

I'm not sure comparing a 17-0 park match and volunteer ref with the biggest match in world club football is the best comparison ;)

Crazy things happen in football, I'm not sure the result is ever truly 'beyond doubt' and certainly not given what's at stake. And who's the ref to make that judgement anyway. Would he have blown at 90 at 3-0? Or 5-1?
