Strasbourg are owned by Boehly as well. They’ll exercise their option/obligation and then sell him to Chelsea.

Pretty much what Nürnberg did when exercising their option on Tzimas and selling him to us immediately.

If he does end up at Chelsea then it would suggest that his problem wasn't with English culture, or the weather, or not getting playing time since he's got to know that his chances at Chelsea are going to be even more rare.

Chelsea might suit his prima donna preciousness though - if indeed that was the problem at Brighton and Sevilla - Chelsea don’t exercise a NDP as far as I can ascertain.

I can't help feeling the so-called NDP is a load of old crap anyway. Surely all clubs* actively seek to avoid players who are meant to be disruptive, troublesome or just out and out knobheads? Why would you consciously sign somebody who would upset the delicate balance of the dressing room, assuming you knew about that element of their character?

*other than Marseilles, Chelsea and Newcastle

Played 15 games for Strasbourg since his loan in Feb. Looks like he's been pretty much played most games since the loan.

The Albion could put the boot in on Barco but I'm not sure another run though would mean that much as far as increasing Barco's quality.

Started 14 out of 14 in the league. Transfermarkt does b has him missing one game but that was played on the day he signed for them so he was probably ineligible anyway.
