Deepest, darkest Sussex
Plenty of sport going on (some of us aren't only interested in football)

Brighton factually.....
Wife & Daughter are away for most of it, so I will be mostly alone and I will be.
A lot of work.
A bit of decorating.
A bit of gardening.
A bit of de cluttering.
A bit of peace and quite time.
A bit of over indulgence.
A bit of seeing friends.
A bit of going to a couple of gigs.
A bit nothing.
A bit of a holiday meeting the wife and daughter for 3 weeks.
A bit of reading NSC and the transfer sagas.
A bit of a diet.

Like all Albion fans I wish the season was starting tomorrow, hate Summer although we have a cruise with Polly and Giles next week and Michael Buerk is joining us too. The better half also wants me to re-grout the bathroom and decorate the fifth bedroom and en-suite, front room ceiling could do with artexing again too but probably get a professional in to do that.

Just far enough away from LDC
Giving my credit cards a breather. Way too much money spent this last 10 months (most decadent being the hummer to Southampton, thank God I only have 2 more kids yet to reach 18!)

Very much what @ROSM said. Bank account gets a constant battering during the season. So I'm also looking forward to a financial breather and a cheap(er) summer.
My lad is 18 and I still seem to pay for +80% of all Albion related spend. Oh well, it's great father/son time – we both love it – and I doubt he could afford to go at all if I didn't cover most of it.

I'm going to try and block all things football out my mind for 11 weeks tbh. As much as I've enjoyed it, I am ready for a break.
So many other things to do and look forward to..

• Watching Tour de France (and cycling for me in general)
• Watching tennis
• Watching cricket test matches
• Photography.. my other passion
• Glastonbury / festival season (plus Stereophonics, Finsbury Park gig with my daughter in July)
• Decorate my home study and buy a load of new computer equipment for work
• Seeing friends/family + enjoying good weather hopefully
• Chilling + dog walks with the Mrs
• Maybe a few day trips west
• Couple of trips to London

All good/can't wait.

There's always football.
UCL this week.
Man Utd must be playing somewhere next week, and the week after.
Club World Cup, or maybe not. Is it even on TV?
Since I broke the sad news of no European Tour next season wife is planning some trips for us.
Sitting in the garden, in fact this one a lot.
