For the third week in a row, the same project manager has just sent out a Teams Meeting request for 16:30 tomorrow.

What kind of fucktard organises project meetings for half past four on a Friday afternoon 🤬🤬🤬
One of the biggest ‘look at me‘ signals an office bell 🧀 (who probably has no social life) can send out. 100% decline it

The one that always gets me is the person that waits until you are just about to leave the office and then has an important issue to discuss. It’s particularly galling when you know that they have known of the issue for most of the day.
Many moons ago I came in ‘early’ and left ‘early’.This particular spanner came in at 09:00 and would grab me just before I was due to leave. After this happening a couple of times I got my very cheap and childish revenge by scheduling a meeting 08:00 and ensured that his boss was also invited who like me was an early starter. not a problem after that.

When I worked in transport and distribution, Friday 5pm was worst because basically you had a 100 idiot customers wanting something “urgent” because they’d basically forgotten all week and now expected miracles just as everyone was packing up for the weekend. Their urgent could be translated as “I’ve sat on since Tuesday and just realised”

The “at work” bit may no longer be true but she’s still managing to provide a solid stream of entertainment.

Bloke in the warehouse who’s dating her bought a dog a couple of weeks ago. Completely out of the blue and it’s been causing issues with his mum; who he lives with, ever since. He didn’t consult her before he bought it , one day there was just a puppy in her house. A puppy that shits everywhere during the day and at night, but is constantly out with the bloke and mental bird during the evening when he finishes work. We suspect it was at least partly mental birds idea.

Anyway a mixture of girlfriend and dog aggro lead to the bloke in the warehouse having a heated argument with his mum yesterday.

The girl was there, despite the lad knowing that her and his mum hate each other.

The girl called 101 for advice about some kind of dog based Mexican stand-off.

There was a history of police calls to that address.

Which means the police have to respond to any calls.

Which means the police turn up to their house over a dog.

The bloke is no longer living at home.

I’m not particularly close to him, he’s not the sort of person I’d meet up with outside of work or anything like that. However I really, really hope he stops being blinded by her. Literally everything she touches turn to shite. She’s absolutely f*cking mental.

It’s not quite 100 days in to the year and she’s already upset a small local business so much they had to put out a social media statement about her (which claims they’re not the first company to have issues with her), been told to never use our company as our reference because she was so toxic here & has now inadvertently called the police on this blokes mum and turned his own family against him. It’s almost impressive, you know.

They’re moving in together next week. He’s paying more than double what she is for the rent & she’s said she won’t give him a lift to work in the summer because it’s cheaper for her if she rides her motorbike in.

At least I continue to get a steady stream of stories about her I guess.
