Como 1907 from Italy's Serie A?

Or perhaps not....

I believe that they pay for the Bloom data (Jamestown Analytics) but I'm not aware of any share holding or ownership ambitions from our Tony.

Then there is CD Castellon from Spain's La Liga 2. Again, I think they pay for the data but I've not heard about any ownership plans from our leader.

If he's wants to continue to be successful and smart maybe the MLS club in St Louis, StL City SC. They have some of the best fans in MLS but a pretty poor product right now. The right owner could turn things around if they know who to hire and how to run a "soccer" team. Current owners are the women who run Enterprise Car Rental and they have one of the better stadiums in MLS, Energizer Park. They just fired their manager who had not won in 10 straight games.

I know he's more well meaning and genuinely invested in these things than most football club owners, but I really don't like this sort of thing. There really should be meaningful rules against it (and I have similar problems with other sports like cricket where owners of IPL clubs buy teams across the world).

That said, I was chatting to a Hearts fan at a wedding a few days ago and he was very excited about the prospect. If he can shake up that league it'd be a good thing.

Albeit on a purely personal level I'd sort of prefer not to have any sort of baggage when I'm up in Scotland (quite a lot) and the football comes up.

Does investing in these other clubs create more risks if we qualify for Europe again and happen to be in the same competition as one of these other clubs ?

I know it is quite nuanced, but there are some of these investments that are solely personal, rather than wrapped up in being a sort of Albion Group project right? I see more of an issue where there is true multi-club ownership, and some of the loopholes that creates, rather than an individual owning stakes in multiple clubs but there being no intrinsic link between them.

The MLS is at a completely different scale - St Louis City is valued at nearly $700m (£520m)

He bought c30% of Hearts for c£10m, so a valuation of £33m.

Melbourne Victory has a valuation of c£25m.

I had no idea but when I was with my son from Southern Illinois at a pub/bar called "The Pitch" the place was completely full & sits on the opposite corner from the Stadium which I was told in the bar that was very close to the atmosphere in a PL pub.

His shareholding in Hearts will deliberately bebelow the 30% limit UEFA have for multi club ownership. Also he’ll have no voting rights at Hearts so has no influence over what happens there which also covers the significant control part of the rules.

I'd suggest that he'll have a lot of influence. It seems that Hearts is already taking advantage of his network.

Whilst he doesn't have a vote or make decisions, I'd suspect that he'll be used as a consultant in terms of how the club grows. The challenge of breaking the Old Firm's stranglehold on Scot's football is profound. Hearts may just have got the right man in.

That wasn’t the question I was answering. In regards to UEFAs multi club ownership rules Tony has protected himself from any conflicts by having less than 30% of shares and no voting rights at the board level, so under the rules he has no significant control at Hearts.

Any consultancy provided by TB and Hearts buy in to the Jamestown data is a separate thing and will not conflict with UEFAs rules.

Yes, If all three clubs were to enter EL, all three clubs would be able to play.
