How do Feyenoord fans rate Osman? Are we likely to see him in our squad next year?
As others have mentioned, not good. It's been a thoroughly underwhelming loan (also an underwhelming season for them too) where he's not looked like he has the ability currently for our first team.

I was impressed by him in pre season though, so maybe it's just the matter of being in the right team.

No Enciso in Ipswich squad
No Ferguson in West Ham squad
Yep, pretty damp-squid ending to the season for those two. Maybe they're back home already?
Horseface still thinks Buonanotte is best placed on the bench. TBH, he might as well be back with us too (might as well have come back in January, TBH).

Review of the season - Part 1:

The Premier League loans.

Facundo Buonanotte (Leicester City) played 26; goals 5.
A pretty successful loan (at least until Ruud van Nistelrooy arrived). Good summary from the Foxes fans' forum here:

https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/137177-buonanotte-starting-sums-us-up/#comment-7740081

Julio Enciso (Ipswich Town) played 11; goals 2 (half season). Decent loan - fans took to him. Strange rumour appearing on the Ipswich website that he's off to Porto - not sure how valid that is! Third of the four loanees reviewed on here:

Evan Ferguson (West Ham United) played 8 - most, if not all, off the bench; goals 0 (half season). Oh dear.

Review of the season - Part 2:

The Championship loans.

The Championship loans have been largely disappointing this season. Probably fair to say that 'indifference' (at best) sums up most fans' attitudes towards them. The further down the pyramid you go, the less helpful and informative the fans' forums become - if indeed they have one! I'll try and pick out something where I can - I know there are smarter internet operators than me out there, so any additions would be welcome!

James Beadle (Sheffield Wednesday); played 38; goals 0.
Last season he was pretty much their saviour in avoiding relegation. This season he seems to have lost his momentum, and eventually lost his place to Wednesday's own young keeper. The following gives a feeling of their views - appreciative of him, but not in love (and there are one or two persistent punters (like we've got on NSC!) who have rubbished him from day one).

https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/338718-play-beadle/#comments

Amario Cozier-Duberry (Blackburn Rovers); played 22; goals 1.
Stats say it all really. No impact, quite happy to send him back to Brighton. Blackburn Rovers fans' forum:-

"Please wait 6 seconds before attempting another search" - pretty much sums it up!

Andrew Moran (Stoke City); played 35; goals 4.
Stats look better than the perception. Two seasons now in the Championship without pulling up a single tree. Time to move him on?

Mark O'Mahony (Portsmouth); played 11; goals 2 .
Season blighted by injury.

Jeremy Sarmiento (Burnley); played 35; goals 4.
Probably the most successful of the Championship loans (although the same stats as Moran!) - quite a few starts among those 35 games. Like Moran though, it's his second full season in The Championship. Fans' Forum rating? 4.99 - see below.

Review of the season - Part 3:

The League 1 loans.

Samy Chouchane (Northampton Town); played 22; no goals.
Technically stayed on loan until the end of the season in case of emergency, but basically sent back to us unwanted in January. Has since played for the U21s. uture (ay the Albion anyway) doesn't look bright.
Kamari Doyle (Crawley Town); played 21; goals 7 (in the 2nd. half of the season - previously played 20; goals 3 for Exeter City in the 1st. part).
Stats are good, especially the 7 in 21 for a relegated team like Crawley. Doesn't seem to have caused a great stir at either club though (but then again, there isn't much content or discussion on the Crawley forum anyway). Facebook opinions anyone? Not the worst loan ever!
Odel Offiah (Blackpool): played 40; goals 1.
A cracking loan - Blackpool fans really took to him (see links earlier on this thread). Came second in their POTS poll. Hope he's involved in pre-season - would have hoped at least a Championship move next season.
Caylan Vickers (Mansfield); played 19; goals 2 (half season loan).
OK, but not spectacular.

Review of the season - Part 4:

The Lower League loans.

Luca Barrington (Grimsby, League 2); played 38; goals 4.
Started quite brightly, but seemed to get mentioned less and less often on their forum as the season went on. Stats decent, although many of those 38 appearances were from the bench.
Louis Flower (Gateshead, National League); played 4; 2 assists (half season loan). Also played 6 times for Gateshead U21s in PL2 (2 goals).
Injured for a considerable part of his loan spell. Forum no help at all!
Ben Jackson (Queens Park (Scottish Championship); played 7; 0 goals (half season loan); first half of season with Livingston, no appearances.
Mixed reviews, to say the least! Judge for yourselves -

I haven't followed the overseas loans so much, but they've generally been fairly well discussed elsewhere. Any reviews or comments on here would be very welcome though!
