Watson has been included in the England U-19 squad for the 2025 UEFA European U-19 Championships in Romania this summer.

England's first game is on Saturday June 14 - presumably he would have completed his transfer and will be an Albion player at that point.

Former Albion academy player Shim Mheuka is also in the squad.

Earlier they posted a graphic of youngest scorers in the playoff final. They need to update it.

The top 4 have 2 from today's game, and 2 from the '93 final.

Some composure in that finish.

Lots of reports from Sunderland’s side this year that Watson has been promised a place in our PL squad next season. Exciting stuff.

I can see us bringing him in for a look and then loaning him back to them for a years PL acclimatisation.
Might have been pretty much the plan just with a different club until Sunderland won.

He only has 900 minutes in the championship to his name.

It will be interesting where the club see his level.
