No idea what the truth is on any of these signings. But it seems plausible that we're aiming to get our summer defensive signings in early .... like, before the season has ended early ..... with a view to get a backilne properly trained up as a unit by the time the season starts

According to the transfermrkt website this season he has played left wing, right wing, centre mid, attacking mid, and centre forward.
