I'm going. Have a mate who is a Mackem, who has another mate who has club Wembley seats that he isn't using.

So Sunderland.

Sunderland all day long. Great stadium (I went to the 2-0 loss back whenever that was), and it's someone "new" to play in the PL.

Just imagine having fixtures with Burnley AND Sheffield Utd. I'm yawning already.
Yep i’m yawning too at the prospect of them going straight back down instead of Sunderland and Leeds stinking out the PL with the entitlement

As a Geordie .... NEVER Sunderland! That would be the double whammy for me, after that thing that happened on Saturday that I dont talk about..... So it's Sheffield United DEFINITELY for me.
Which means the mackams are dead certs frankly :-(

Sunderland, so we can have them and Newcastle away I'm the same week.
This in either September, October, April or May is my dream scenario, assuming it goes to purchase history.

Weardale and Northumberland combined camping holiday would be fantastic!

Sunderland for me. To be honest, the only thing I don't like about Sheff Utd is their boring grumpy manager. But I don't find Sunderland's fans particularly entitled, and I quite fancy doing a trip up there. Plus I think they'd go straight back down anyway.

Whoever it is will be looking forward to their guaranteed 2 points against us next season.

It’s way more amusing than irritating having “entitled” fans from historically large clubs coming up as we know the likelihood in 2025 is that they will struggle.

From my experience though Sunderland fans seem OK, compared to Leeds/Sheff Weds/Boro etc.

Sunderland, just because it'd be nice to have a different ground to go to for a season.

I know Chris Wilder played for us during the Withdean years, but he generally comes across as a weapon. Yes, Sunderland would make a welcome change.

I don’t mind.

Sunderland would be great as they will go straight back down. I hope they don’t, but just can’t see how they’ve built the team foundations.

The Blades is great because I have friends who live near the stadium so great away day for me.

Genuinely have no dog in this fight.
