Will be a sad day for Mrs Jakarta's cousin, he has been an Everton supporter for over 50 years, following in the footsteps of his Dad.

He was a Season Ticket holder for many years and managed to get one for today.

I reckon Anfield will be next...

That's incredibly extravagant.
Why did he need a season ticket for today?

Goodison was one of my favourite away days. All the benefit of a long train journey and great pub in a city I like but without a trainload of plastic wankers to deal with both ways. And I’ve never seen us lose there.

I wondered if I’d be cynical about today but, as a football fan, you have to be impressed with the atmosphere.

OK its its the last game before they move, but do TNT really have to show people in the ground about every 30 seconds, there is a game going on, but I'm pretty sure that the crowd have had over 50% of the coverage.

And why, after more than 50 years as an Everton fan, is he now going to support Liverpool?

It’s more fun than watching Southampton “defend” to be fair.

If anything’s getting on my tits it’s the sepia tinted memories of Duncan Disorderly and his “two pissed Weedgie gangsters” discourse with McCoist.

I went with an Everton supporting mate when Chris Hughton was still in charge. Maty Ryan in goal.

Always remember, every single goal kick we had was kicked out to the left side of the centre circle. It got to the point where, as soon as the ball went out for a goal kick, both sets of players walked straight to that area.

So annoying.

We lost.

New to the re-entry into the top league it sure seemed like the Albion were punching above their weight in those days.

It felt like a true accomplishment when Hughton was able to keep the Albion from getting relegated back to the Championship.
