When a Seattle game in Munich was announced a few years ago, I immediately grabbed a 'pay later' booking.com hotel reservation in anticipation, and eagerly awaited the day tickets would go on sale.

The moment they did, there was over 770,000 people on the site trying to buy. The NFL later estimated they could have sold three million tickets if everyone who tried to buy had succeeded.

So yeah. Cancelled the hotel, and was just relieved I hadn't pre-bought the flight. 😢

I'm going to go anyway for the atmosphere and a proper look at Madrid, my last visit there was short. I'll be in the ticket bunfight but I may have a couple of chances of a ticket if that comes to nought. The city will be filled with Washington and Miami fans I suspect.

Gutted the Bucs aren’t going but it was never realistically an option from the ‘home’ teams involved. Still put my name in the ballot for the Jags games.

@Fignon's Ponytail check out the Bucs 50th schedule video! It’s Gruden being Gruden but a good time nonetheless!

There were some decent schedule videos this year but some pretty woeful efforts as well - not least from my Broncos.

Chargers on is great, does a fine job of trolling the other teams, Seahawks and Titans are also worth watching. I gave up on the Bucs with Gruden - too long, too Gruden!

Browns being just the football logo and Jaguars actually does not exist is pretty accurate description though, lol.

London game tickets go on sale lunchtime today.

I'm hoping to get tickets in the 'home' end at WHL for the Broncos game as it has always looked impressive when watching the Albion from the away end.

This was a bad day in Indiana history.

This Irsay, son of the first owner that took the Colts from Baltimore to Indianapolis, had a big drug habit at one time in his life. I'm sure it contributed to his earlier than usual demise.

On March 16, 2014, Irsay was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence and drug possession in Carmel, Indiana.[56][57] Irsay had multiple bottles of prescription medication and more than $29,000 in cash in his car at the time of his arrest, with prosecutors claiming that Irsay tested positive for oxycodone and hydrocodone in his system.[58] Multiple felony charges were subsequently pleaded down to a pair of misdemeanors.[58]

Irsay's daughter, Carlie, took over the day-to-day operations of the Colts while he was in rehab.[59] On September 2, 2014, shortly after pleading guilty to operating while intoxicated and being sentenced to one year of probation, Irsay was suspended by the NFL for six games and fined $500,000.[60] In a 2023 interview on Real Sports, Irsay claimed he had been arrested because "I am prejudiced against because I’m a rich, white billionaire."[61]

In a report released by TMZ in January 2024, and repeated and partially verified by other news outlets, Irsay was found unresponsive and struggling to breathe at home and was taken to the hospital on December 8, 2023. He received a dose of Narcan, a medicine that reverses an opioid overdose.[62][63][64]

My son from Colorado Springs is hoping to take me to a Broncos game someday, someday, someday. I have actually never attended an NFL game.

I went to Denver for a long weekend specifically to watch a game at Mile High - it was a great experience and I loved Denver and the surrounding areas as a place and want to go back again.
