Solly is our best winger for end product. It nearly always ends in a cross or shot. He was pushed to start the west ham game but seems to have been a push too far. Many fans were clamouring for him to play more (me included until he explained his challenges).

He looked fit enough at Brighton races yesterday - though, as rough as the crowd can be there, it’s not quite the same challenge as premier football.

Taking sentimentality out of it for a moment: If it was any other player, except maybe Dunk, we'd be thinking that March was a waste of wages and a squad place. We've been trying to get him back since last October, and apart from few 5-10 minute cameos his one start has resulted in him being ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Doesn’t sound good.
Mitoma is our best winger for end product. 19 goals in 85 appearances. Solly has 21 goals in 265 appearances.

I think you might have missed my point in terms of getting shots away and crosses in. Other wingers, mitoma included, often run into dead ends and trouble.

If he want to win the game Mitoma has to play in my opinion. We would have beaten the Toon if Mitoma had started.
