Watching the Cov Boro game earlier there were a lot of empty seats when Cov got their first just before half time. Yet the super fans on here think it’s a Brighton problem.

Do think it’s a bit weak leaving early at a Saturday 3pm game, when the game is still in the balance, if we’re 3-0 down who cares, but 2-1, 1-0, 1-1, 0-1 whatever, the players notice, sit down and see what happens. What else are you gonna do on a Saturday, watch the Masked Singer?

It is indeed an every club problem, but our fanbase does send it into Overdrive sometimes. The amount of people leaving at 1-1 against City this year, baffling.
I didn’t watch the Arsenal loss. Did the Emirates empty at all before final whistle? In the past it was very noticable.

Big gaps from the start anyway on the side opposite the cameras. Got a lot worse as match went on.
Interesting about the gaps throughout. In a huge city of 9m and they’ve accumulated a load of glory hunters in places like Brighton. Remarkable the dip in turning up when they can’t win the title, I thought they were colossal.

Yes that is true. I work with a local lad who is an Arsenal fan. His family are originally from London going back to Grandad who moved down to Sussex. His Uncle has 2 two grand tickets and yet apparently (as he has a flat in Islington as well as a house here on the coast) leaves a lot of games early to 'avoid the rush' and then streams the dying part of the game in his flat.
My mate cannot understand his uncle nor other fans. He admits that the Emirates is absolutely full (or not) of glory-hunters who only turn up for the big games and contribute little or nothing to the atmosphere.
