Zelenskiy is an inconvenience to him.
Because they won't roll over and die quietly.
European leaders, senior US senators etc need to call Trump out for this.

I'm sorry I don't have the answer that you seek.

What I will say, is nothing is forever. Not Putin. Not the Russian empire. Not Trump. And not Trump's intransigence.

Things will change. In the meantime, it is in Ukraine's interest to keep the US (and Europe) onside. Which it is doing.
Take comfort in Zelenskyy being streets ahead of Putin and Trump. And Zelenskyy and Ukraine being on the side of Europe.
