Absolutely this. In the past, when the lad was younger and in a lower tier than me we'd always miss out on Palace tickets. This season I've actually got a seat with a view and that's from putting in the yards over a few recent seasons. There's nowhere else I'd rather watch the game.
However, had the Terrace existed in those seasons where he was T3 and beam backs were done then I'd rather watch it on a huge screen with a pint than on a dodgy stream at home. It has its place but it should never replace going to a game.

WE were in a hurry to grab tickets early for this match, to avoid one specific pitfall. If you have ever experienced the back right hand corner of the stand, a quarter of the pitch is not viewable, due to the angle of the roof. A handily sized 22" CRT TV screen is located under the roof to keep the away fans engaged with the action.
It was appropriate for an age when watching Final Score through the window of radio rentals qualified as Saturday afternoon entertainment. A far cry from the Terrace and its big screen experience.

What a sh1t beam back that would be. I went to the Palace beamback and it was terrible. No seating and poor view of the screens from The Amex lounge. (Not to mention the actual football).
I'm sure it's fine for home matches, but bring back the proper lounges for any beambacks. We're not animals!

Perhaps they should show it in cinemas? Like proper ones in town? Do they remember the town? It’s the place where many of us live and where they keep saying they bring revenue to.

Or one of the nice lounges in the stadium. The Terrace is nothing more than a rough old pre-match boozer with O2 priced food offerings.
