So more now availableI was hoping there might be a late release of beamback tickets so I could go with Mrs Earle(I've got parking just in case) but after reading this thread I'm not sure we'd want to be in there!
Absolutely this. In the past, when the lad was younger and in a lower tier than me we'd always miss out on Palace tickets. This season I've actually got a seat with a view and that's from putting in the yards over a few recent seasons. There's nowhere else I'd rather watch the game.Yeah definitely, I’m not debating that, but it can never come close to watching a live match in the stadium.
Yeah because I think it’s a crazy view to not want to be watching it in person in the ground and rather in some retina burning adult playpen. Football is meant to be watched in real life. I get it was semi serious, but considering some of the shit tips I’ve watched football in, I’d never consider wanting to watch it on TV over watching it live in person.
That was in the days before CNN tho ehAs a wise man once said, The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.
WE were in a hurry to grab tickets early for this match, to avoid one specific pitfall. If you have ever experienced the back right hand corner of the stand, a quarter of the pitch is not viewable, due to the angle of the roof. A handily sized 22" CRT TV screen is located under the roof to keep the away fans engaged with the action. If you wish you were in the Terrace instead of Selhurst Park, I’m sorry but football isn’t for you.
Chelsea and Spurs both doSadly, not most, but Wolves and Villa spring to mind.
The Terrace being used for the players awards this year, with no live stream on You Tube.
Tickets on sale from tomorrow, a bargain at £65.
I caCancelled - due to lack of demand.
What a sh1t beam back that would be. I went to the Palace beamback and it was terrible. No seating and poor view of the screens from The Amex lounge. (Not to mention the actual football).Cancelled - due to lack of demand.
Have they even advertised them!?Showings of Stand or Fall cancelled too, due to lack of demand.
It was £6 including a drink.Have they even advertised them!?
They shouldn't be in charge of designing anything.I just hope the same person who designed the interior isn't in charge of the safe standing metal bar set up
Hardly surprised. Who wants to watch it there?Showings of Stand or Fall cancelled too, due to lack of demand.
Or one of the nice lounges in the stadium. The Terrace is nothing more than a rough old pre-match boozer with O2 priced food offerings.Hardly surprised. Who wants to watch it there?
Perhaps they should show it in cinemas? Like proper ones in town? Do they remember the town? It’s the place where many of us live and where they keep saying they bring revenue to.
