Anyone know what time the EDF park and ride opens tomorrow? Has the closing time on the ticket but not the opening.

Brighton Marina open from 12 noon.
Hands-up I don't drive. But anytime I've been a passenger in a car trying to navigate the Marina car park, it's always seemed a noticeably tortuous process. Very many tight turns, the signage is less than optimal, frequent hold-ups due to (understandably) folks reversing in and out of parking spaces. Hope I'm doing the Marina car park a disservice, but I'd suggest getting there as soon as it opens or not at all, else you could be in there for quite some time. Hope I'm wrong 🤞

Damn, only heard about it today and they are saying 'sold out'.

Having said that the A27 will be at stand-still so returning buses will take forever.
Hoping they might employ some common sense and use a different route through town if the A27 backs up.

There's no absolute requirement for it to use the bypass, just because it has before.

Worked really well for me yesterday as I needed to get back quickly for a birthday party on Saturday night.

Got there early, parked up and jumped on a train into Brighton for some pre match drinks.

After the game, I left the middle of the WSU at the final whistle, and was on a bus just before 17:15 and only took 25 minutes to get back to EDF despite the A27 stuff. After my bus left there were three more double deckers waiting to take people to EDF so fair play to the club for great organisation on this one.

Totally agree

brilliant experience getting home yesterday and I assume as the a27 will be a nightmare for the remaing games, edf will be opened every home game?

Took about 40/45 minutes. Like the others I was pleasantly surprised at how swift the return journey was as had expected the worst. Left on the final whistle and was back in Portslade by 5:30.
A last question - what time did you board the bus at EDF ?

What was the journey like getting to the ground from EDF ?
Sorry just missed this. Very slow due to people not filtering as the signs say down the A27 …you know the type …..coming home the bus actually went up the outside lane and cut in at the end…..
