I much prefer the Station pubs if I take train, and also delighted to see the Concourse empty by comparison whilst everyone queued at the Terrace. I’m not especially bothered by screens showing clips accompanied by Mark McGammon or whoever recalling yesteryear. Very happy to continue walking past.

Extremely busy, about 10 different queues for the bar and took 20 mins to get served.
I tried to get upstairs with my Amex card but was told by a steward that it fills up so quickly with “ guests” that there is no point in trying unless you get there when it opened or just before final whistle , get down there really quickly

pointless waste of time getting an Amex card!

You missed nothing. We went up there - ordered drinks on the screen - staff behind bar seemed very confused - soon as we got drinks went back downstairs anyway as too crowded, very few seats. Upstairs is a complete waste of time.

BN1, in GOSBTS
NS catering pre match and at HT were the lowest queues ever, also lots of empty seats. A much lower true attendance?
Certainly the lack of queues on the concourse were a bonus, although it was tricky walking down from the coach park through the crowds cheering plucky Man City's goals to get to North 9. With hindsight I'd have gone the other way...

Been twice. Forest and yesterday. Used the upstairs bar both times. Again a delay at top of stairs as the data hiving enforcement team nab your details (card scan wasn't working so they were manually typing everything in). Bar service again poor. One lady serving us said she'd had no till training at all (thanfully I'm well used to the same in the WSU). Food system appeared to stop at one point, and in our case (2 kids meals) the guy said just take what you want and insisted we take 2 adult meals instead. So chaos basically. Once seated with a beer, the whole structure and screens remain v impressive, and v popular. Thought the grab machine to win prizes was great idea, but the over 18 only aspect was daft.

Are the players sneaking in pre match and enjoying a few too many gourmet donuts? Might explain our performances the last couple of weeks.
That would explain a lot...

The Caxton was busy yesterday pre-game and post game. I too got a pint very quickly in the north post match after taking one look at the scrum in the terrace and about turning.
The Terrace is a great addition but having away fans in there post match winds me up more than it probably should.
It doesn’t surprise me that takings are up, if you can get served quicker then more people will eat/drink more, pretty basic logic, I’ve said for years that the club are leaving a lot of money in peoples pockets due to the queues and slow service, I see a lot less people ‘give up’ now, me included.
Im with you! Away fans in The Terrace should be a absolute no, no. They can stay in their concourse.

Don't need to see smug/loud or gobby away fans in a home fanzone after a shite performance or result. Imagine Leeds fans in there...🤮

Sussex but not by the sea
To begin with I can see this making the early stadium leavers worse as some try to get in the queue to go back into this place. Hopefully the novelty will wear off.
I thought the early leavers problem was quite a lot better on Saturday, there were still a few near me though, one couple on 82 mins, their loss.
I'm bouncing my own post. I just knew this would happen BUT did not expect it at 2-2 with us pushing for a winner. Some of the videos of these clowns queuing to get into a f***ing bar which is literally 50 meters from the stadium rather than support the team I found quite depressing, and then having the cheek to celebrate the win, when again they were 50 f***ing meters from it. On principle they should have been told to jog on/barred for life.

Barred for life is fair.

Though I would prefer some sort of medieval branding type exercise.

Stocks. We need stocks.
But we're not animals right? Stocks and burning irons just for the men. The women get away with just having their heads shaved while a baying mob cheers. The kids, who are 5+, maybe just a clip round the ear
