Mrs Q said I was gross. It was very tasty. I’ll try any local food but what is the opinion on NSC on certain local delicacies ?
Had octopus last night and that is pretty tasteless.
This is what i like about you Questions, anyone else on NSC would have a thread title..

I’m a meat eater but wouldn‘t fancy spleen and lung.
Although there’s no logic to that. If you‘re willing to eat animal flesh why be fussy about what part of the animal?

Was it from one of those little trolleys with water dripping down all over it? Always wanted to try one of the them

I’ve eaten Alligator in Florida, sheep’s eyeballs in Oman, Seaslug in Hong Kong, Ducks feet , also in Hong Kong, Kangaroo burger in Fremantle, Reindeer balls,( like meatballs, not testicules, ) in Helsinki, none of which taste as disgusting as celery.

The worst thing I have ever eaten was a Tarantula off a street vendor in Cambodia, it was VILE. They broke it in half, the head and legs were charred, crispy and dry. It wasn't the worst.

But the abdomen was basically one giant puss ball, as soon as i bit into it, it popped and went all down by chin. Safe to say I instantly threw up.

EDIT: Also turns out the locals rarely consume the abdomen, and just f*** with drunk tourists.

Even an action-packed colon? ???

I think you'll find that isn't meat. Not remotely.

I remember Rick Stein had this on one of his “weekends” once and I always wanted to try it.
