I was hoping to get away from terms like entitlement or happy clapper as they’re not at all helpful in fostering debate. There’s a much more nuance than IN or OUT and that’s want I was hoping to gauge. If someone (me for example) thinks Fab isn’t doing a great job and could get the team performing better but doesn’t want him to be sacked tomorrow am I showing entitlement? Where does this much mentioned entitlement start and finish?
Apologies, I think you've taken the brunt of me being pissed off by seeing yet another manager poll. These polls only ever seem to come up when we lose, never when we win.

Regarding entitlement. See my response on another thread. (y)

Hard to disagree, but don't think TB will fire him.

He fired Poyet who was being a complete dick and prostituting himself around, he fired Hughton you'd guess because we were clinging on by our fingernails, stinking the place out and there was no younger/academy/rough diamond players getting time which didn't fit the buy low sell high model we now enjoy.

But he backed Hyypia, a decent man hopelessly out of his depth and wanted to back him more before he fell on his own sword.

And Hurzeler, a good man who looks a bit of his depth at times right now, is more Hyypia than Gus or Hughton.
I think Tony is always more likely to fire people for poor behaviour (Poyet, DeZerbi). Poor performance he will give more time but draw the line eventually (Hyppia, Hughton).

We all know Tony isn’t the type to make knee-jerk decisions, but I do wonder if being in the crowd yesterday might have given him something to think about. The discontent was pretty clear, and it must have been difficult to ignore.

In the past he has quietly decided on a sacking mid season and then acted later, it was said CH’s fate was sealed after either the Bmuff or Cardiff defeats.

A very mixed bag.

Fantastic in a couple of spells this season. Great early subs with almost a Midas touch, taking the p out of Manure, we kept going until the end eg Fulham.

Versus does bugger all about teams including Stains, Leicester and Brentford tearing us apart on the counter. Good coaches absolutely do make mid half adjustments in real time to stop a repeated threat. FH simply won’t, when an entire stadium can see it before the opposition score.
Potter used to make changes on field after 15 minutes. Sometimes.

Can't take the opinions of people who still hark on about Potter seriously.

Anyway, right now with the team seemingly having sacked the season off, he's doing an appalling job.

More generally, he's been dealt a rough hand with injuries and some shite recruitment raising expectations with money spent, so I'd say he's doing ok. Not good, but ok.
I NEVER voted Potter OUT because it was obvious what he was trying to do. I have no clue what Fab is trying to do except make the same mistakes too often. We have had some good results but got lucky in nearly all the games we won imo

Potter also made in game changes and styles that made a difference. Fab wings it imo

But I would argue he has made adjustments. Post-Chelsea away he definitely did. He’s been less rigid than RdZ was with his mantra for my money.
He did, and at Newcastle too but since then…..?

DeZerbi had way worse injuries to deal with than Hurzeler, if we finish equal or below last seasons finish it’s been a failure. £200m spent for no improvement.
Lizard is not happy.
If Lizard has a fault it’s his reluctance to accept he got it wrong without a manager meltdown to make it easier for him. CH excepted.

We've won more than we have lost. Poor results recently but good results previously. Bad run of injuries. He's doing OK for sure. Be careful what you wish for.

Iroala at Bournemouth is tipped for a big move and he has then one point more from the same number of games!

Also I need a reminder that Hurzeler didn't appoint himself.
In spells he's done very well, and against some of the better teams. Then we've been poor for a few games. The huge frustration for me is the poor performances against the weakest teams 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️.
I blame Milner and Zamora myself!!
A young coach, with a young squad, even though we've spent money.
I think TB will back him until Xmas.

I said this on another thread but the issue for me is I can’t see what it is he is trying to do. Under Potter even though results weren’t as good it was so evident how he wanted us to play and I believed in it totally. They was a philosophy and a style, I just dont see any of that with FH. I also don’t think his in game management is anywhere near where it should be which is understandable as he’s young and inexperienced.

I’m not impressed. Since we reached the PL I have never called for a manager to be sacked, Hughton had too much credit in the bank, Potter I believed in wholeheartedly and RDZ achieved so much he deserved time. I actively want this manager to leave in the summer, which is an unfortunate and frankly unpleasant feeling but there’s just too many red flags for me.
Tend to agree but I do wonder if the lack of quick central defenders is holding back the high line defence style which he seems to favour.

He is doing ok. We are aiming to be a top ten team. We are tenth and a few points of 8th and up. What's wrong with that? We are exactly where we expect to be.
