Did this involve going out on the piss for days on end and letting in a last-minute goal during the final game of the season?

Asking for a friend.
Did Grealish and the Villa fans also celebrate like they’d won the League themselves?

Easter Monday, wasn’t it?
Indeed, and what a mad weekend that was.

Watched the Wolves game on telly with a few friends on the Friday before we went to an Escape Club reunion with Brandon Block and tons of 90s club tunes. Saturday and Sunday to just about recover before taking my boy, my mate and his boy, all incredibly excited to the game and watching with our big WSU group, now sadly much smaller in number for various reasons.

Definitely did not go on the pitch. Definitely.

Mate then had to go meet his wife in town so I kept both kids and watched the Huddersfield game in the North with them and a couple of beers. Mental scenes when that confirmed us mathematically, then a crazy train ride home, arriving back at my mate's place with two small boys and a bottle of fizz.

Tuesday. Was. A. Writeoff.

The best part of this run of games was when we lost 2-0 to Norwich and I don’t think they had a single shot on target. Seriously what are the odds of a goalie scoring two own goals off his backside? Mental.

"We would like to ask all fans to respect this request of the club, staff and players, and also to work with our safety and stewarding staff at both remaining matches this season.

"Even if we were lucky enough to secure promotion against Wigan on Monday, then our players and coaches would want to aim do everything possible to secure the Championship title.

"With further games to be played after each match, it's vitally important to ensure player safety and avoid unnecessary injuries - for both our own players and our visitors.

"We also want our pitch to be in pristine condition for the visit of Bristol City later this month.

"Furthermore, following the Bristol City match, we still have matches to be played on the Amex pitch, including the Sussex Senior Cup Final, in which our club is taking part. Out of respect to our younger players and Crawley Town, our opponents, we would not want the pitch damaged - particularly as the club's ground staff will not have enough time to repair significant damage to the pitch.

"It's also important for us to point out that it remains an offence to enter the field of play, at any time, and this could result in arrest and exclusion from the stadium.

"If we are in a position to celebrate, and with the prospect of Premier League football to watch, we really do not want to have the occasion spoiled in any way or to be in a position where we may have to issue bans to supporters for next season."

What a great night it was in town after that game. Memories of going out into town after the Saturday FA cup final in 1983. Everyone happy, no trouble and lots of celebrating into the early hours.

Good job this celebration wasn’t away from home, imagine having to ban this lot.

Great day. Still annoys me that we #*@*ed up winning the league.
:ROFLMAO: Me too. Perhaps I'll let it go one day, but really really annoying.

I would like to say that I did NOT run on the pitch and any likeness to me is purely coincidental.

I saw that guy. He looked more like Maryland Senator Van Hollen. At least the Trump administration says so.
