I'm sure he's pissed off at today's result, and last week's defeats, but he's not sacking Hurzeler at the end of his first Premier League season if that's what you're angling for.
If he feels progress isn’t being made and his £200m investment isn’t making progress he might surprise you.
You will then fully back him 😆

It is interesting to guess though. No doubt incredibly happy with the long term everything about the club. But a penny for his very analytical thoughts on this season, recruitment to come, on FH.

My guess … he’s pleased with FH and plans to provide a better squad come August.

No chance. Hurzeler will be sacked at the end of the season.

Why?

No chance Tony will stand for drawing against the bottom four in the league. That dropped 8 points would have put us in Europe.

He will be sanguine but if he feels Fab is not progressing well enough, he’ll be sacked

If he's going to sack someone, I think David Weir is living a more dangerous time than Fabian Hurzeler.

There's no algorithm in the world saying we've got good value out of our established (Wieffer, O'Riley, Ferdi, Dahoud, Igor, Fati, Milner) signings the last two years.
Yup.
People are looking in the wrong place.
Weir is definitely a worry.

He’s really quite demanding of his managers but for the avoidance of doubt there’s a vast distance between wanting better performances and sacking someone

I thought we might have progressed beyond performances like that after nine months, and I'd be surprised if TB didn't feel that way. We've been unlucky with injuries but we had more than enough out there today to beat them comfortably. The panicky meltdown at 2-2 was very worrying and indicative of some real problems with the mindset of this team.

He won't be sacked but I think he will be given a very clear set of objectives to hit next season.

I'm not in the know at all. However, I did hear pre season that TB had gone LARGE on us for Champ's league qualification. This was 3rd hand information, so who knows if true.
I'm sure he re-couped his losses with that 100-1 winner at Cheltenham though!

I should think he is mighty p----d of to have spent £200m and doubt at moment he would get his money back on any of them and not one can you say is outstanding.
Also wont be happy to have been asked to spend £20m on a CB and a month later cant get in at CB ahead of a mdfielder. when we have 3 out

If Albion finish top twelve and sack their manager they will be the laughing stock of English football.

He won’t be happy with the style of football. Probably relatively chill overall.
Yes, League position ok, but the style of football seems to be to outrun the opposition which isn’t sustainable and leads to pretty drab performances, especially at home.
There’s no consistent patterns of play or means of opening up another team.
If things don’t change then I can see us slipping down the league positions next season.
Tactically he seems lacking too.

Unlikely I’d have thought as there is a worldwide ban on anyone involved in football, including club owners, betting on outcomes.
