Of course we won’t. I’ve seen this game at least 3 times already at home this season- Ipswich, Wolves, Southampton…
Fair play you called it.

It was naive of me to think that it'd be any different to what we've seen most of the season. Every team we play carves through us like we're not there - even one that hasn't scored for eight bloody games in a row. And every game we spend large periods looking clueless on the ball.

But still...I just couldn't believe in a game against a relegated team we'd spunk our season up the wall like that. Especially when we had so many opportunities not to!

Last time they scored twice was against guess who ?
Spurs on 26th January.

But the time before that was us, so your point definitely still stands!

Absolute disgrace of a performance second half. So so so annoyed at that absolute abject pile of sht they served up second half. If I wouldn’t have paid so much I’d have walked out 10 minutes before the end. Fck the lot of them

Could have got a second yellow.
Easily. I think in any other game he potentially gives away a penalty early on with that bizarre push inside the box as well.

This ref seemed to let everything go, which tbf, I like to see as it means the game flows. However, bizarre that he needed so long at the monitor for our first penalty.

A bit of a weird game all round really, and one which, in the end, we were lucky to come away with a point from.

How very Brighton and I’m not vaguely surprised we blew it, as we do more often than not in games that really matter
We are weak culturally and mentally. Can’t cope with the bottom 4 at home not wanting to lose. Fab talks about being ‘wuthless’ but on the face of it has done nothing about it. Adringra, Ayaris weak shooting and Mintehs inability to use his right foot being a few examples of not fixing this.

I’m actually ‘reasonably’ relaxed about it as I knew we wouldn’t win and actually felt some strange relief after their second as it was coming and thought it might give us some time for a winner. No way this current crop of flaky bottlers could cope with European football.

Europe is not out the window. We’re on the same points as Fulham even if they have a game in hand.

Today would’ve been very nice though.

Well that wasn't good today. Two points dropped for me. Just not good enough today to get the 3 points. We had a load of chances but poor poor finishing.

We were so lucky, IMO the second pen was so soft, although we had a lot of good chances.
Not great against a team doomed to relegation although they had nothing to lose.
We just don’t look like winning games atm, need to sort the defence out in the summer.
Many people have said that over several transfer windows. But the club keeps signing midfielders.

Looking on the bright side . At least Vardy didn’t score
Tbh, when he came off, I hadn't even realised he was on. Almost seems like he didn't have a single touch of the ball.

Adingra and O’Riley were poor startERS today. I think Weiffer and Gomez would have been better.

I think both Adingra and O’Riley ( and maybe Hürzeler too 😉) should have gone out on loan in January and imo we should have kept Enciso and McConville
Not sure Wieffer's an improvement on O'Riley. Or the other way round, TBH. Wouldn't mind if we'd kept the receipts for both those two! Certainly wish we'd have kept McConville, and probably Enciso too. Adingra got his chance to play in his favoured position on the left as Mitoma out injured - and blew it.

Yes that's Europe gone.
We thought that last time we dropped points against Leicester, and yet a couple of months later we were in the champions league spots. So, you know....

I mean, I wouldn't put money on it, but we are still sitting in a European place, and with this team a good run is followed by a shite run is followed by a good run...
