I remember Thames Valley Royals but so much time has elapsed linking this to use of AFC Wimbledon’s ground is a long shot at best

Seemed a little improbable that within a crowd of 20k, in injury time, they'd find a couple of empty seats to focus in on with CCTV, which just HAPPENED to have the bomber sat right there pushing a wire into the semtex in that very moment. If we were winning 5-1 (HAH!), there'd be FASANDS of empty seats by the time they reached the 6m injury time countdown.
Added to the fact that if I had some random bloke suddenly arrive next to, or in front of me, speaking urgently into a mic, whilst slowly and carefully removing an unattended bag from under a seat, with sniffer dogs doing the rounds, and with someone else nearby hurredly carrying off an evidence bag with a glove in it - I MIGHT just consider sloping off up to the concourse in that moment, rather than hanging back to see if the Brighton Royals could add a 6th and then clap them off. Yet nobody - NOBODY - batted an eyelid.
But maybe thats just me.

The Royals seem to have their ground very close to the Amex, the post match kidnap was filmed at Sussex University on the route where you walk to get to the University car park 
Grace is watchable escapism with the added interest of local filming. I doubt I’d enjoy it as much without the scene interests though

Britbox would be the last one I got rid of!
You could always use a VPN and watch it on iPlayer if you have one.

It's shocking. I bumped into an architect and his team wandering around the old Martlets site a couple of weeks ago, got chatting and he said they were working for the infamous New River Retail. He reckoned since the change of control in the DC two years ago that there has been a lot more pressure on NRR to bring forward their redevelopment plans but even so it would take a year from approval to tender the work, then a further year to do all the demolition before anything new could be built. I suspect Grace can get a few more series filmed before any of it goes.

'Dead If You Don't' features the Amex centre stage
I watched last night's episode for about an hour before giving up. I've read the books which are OK, although not outstanding. The TV adaptations are worse. The bloke playing Grace is a dud, it's formulaic, procedural bollocks. And the bit I watched didn't have the redeeming feature of being filmed in Brighton.
For that reason, I am OUT.

I’ve read the first 18 books. Haven’t read the last couple - yet - as they are getting too repetitive and boring. MrsPGTips stopped reading a few books before me.
Completely agree about the TV series. They are pretty shocking - in a bad way. We watched the very first ones out of interest as we had enjoyed the books and there was the local connection. But we then stopped watching as the casting of the key characters is just crap and the delivery of the rather poor script is very poor.
We thought we’d give it another go last night as nothing much else was on that we wanted to watch … but it really wasn’t great. And as you say, not much in the way of local sights to get excited about.
