As we have had our view affected shouldn't we be getting a discount on our electricity bills.
You can’t see France, even on a good day. You can‘t pretend the turbines are blocking your view.

Although I've grown to not mind the turbines you could argue it's spoilt the aesthetics of the view.
I guess all views are subjective. I find wind farms magnificent and hypnotic at the same time, sea based even better.

Never looked out to sea and found it dull love the contrast between sea and sky.

My memory is they are similar shades of grey, like a good Cure song.

Just googled the question of compensation and local councils are pushing for it,Brighton council wants it based on tourism one example they want help for is funding the Madeira Terraces.

Great to hear this, one step closed to electricity prices being uncoupled from the price of gas.

I guess all views are subjective. I find wind farms magnificent and hypnotic at the same time, sea based even better.
I drive along the coast most days and I’m always a tad disappointed when I can’t see them because of poor visibility.

This article makes the council look like absolute chancers. They don’t give any reason for why they should get compo. The windfarm people prove they generate tourist numbers and revenue. :shrug:
