The best thing about Wolves is that their expensive hospitality for home fans is in such close proximity to the away fans that it’s basically just a big glass window separating us. The epic meltdowns of several of their fans in the Mitoma-goal game was like an added, unexpected bonus to an already fantastic day out. Guys going absolutely ballistic at us with utter futility through the glass, their women trying to stop them but then coming back themselves to give some inaudible abuse our way, and none of them seeming to realise that the more incensed they got the funnier it was, which just made them rage even more which was of course just funnier.

A self-perpetuating infinite joy loop powered by the bottomless well of their anger. Marvellous scenes.

You know people who would arrange a stag do in the football season???
A client of mine proposed to his girlfriend on Tuesday, 1 April.…When she said yes he told her they can get married on anty day except when Spurs are at home as he has a season ticket at WHL. With PL dates always changing, he agreed the optimum date to avoid missing a Spurs game would be FA cup final day.

That was indeed hilarious. Made up for being stuck in that dreadful wide stand, I definitely preferred it when we were behind the goal in the upper tier a few years back.

Not our game, but imagine it’s a regular occurrence

I think i am right in saying that clubs only get that stand behind the goal if they do not take up the full allocation they are entitled to. There was a picture on another thread of Fulham fans in that area with an amusing banner but not sure if it was this season or not.
Of course if anyone knows better please post a correction and updated info.

If we take a smaller allocation we go in the corner (it’s not quite behind the goal) between the Cullis/Bull stand (both tiers), we get the Steve Bull Lower if we take the full allocation.

Penultimate away game of the season so demand will be high. We sell out virtually every away game ( when was the last one not to sell out, Villa?) so think the club will take the full allocation.

First long distance away game where having The Terrace may effect ticket sales?
Beam backs for Palace & Brentford were OK as both games were always going to sell out. But Wolves may be different.
Do the club not say anything about a screening at The Amex or even say there will not be one?
On the other hand the 'never get a chance for away tickets' brigade will all have their chance for tickets.

unless I am mistaken, I think that the club can only apply to screen away games if their allocation has sold out?
