Wrong. The exchange didn’t open for the Southampton game, so I didn’t list mine. I got the naughty email.
I think you're both right.

Warning emails have been sent this year for non-use/non-listing.

Next season there is a definitive 2pm day before cut-off for listing to not make the naughty list. You will still be able to list after that and, if the ticket sells I assume you won't get a black mark against your name.

If you list same-day and the ticket doesn't sell (or the exchange doesn't actually open) then that's when you will enter slap-on-the-wrist territory.

I’m not sure how often the club do get angry about not attendance/non listing
As it happens, if the exchange doesn’t open it’s still an empty seat.
The club have never contacted me about this. I left 8 unlisted this season so far and was unsuccessful at reselling 4. Renewed just fine.
Still don’t understand why the club don’t open the exchange when there’s less than say 500 to sell. The ones left to sell are usually singles or in crap location which people might not bother but as want to sit else where. Open the exchange early and it’s still money for them and seats people want to buy for the fans. Win/win.

I think you mean since the Withdean era 😊

Have you thought about asking if you can use the disabled area, as you clearly are if only temporarily. Surely the club has some sort of recliner they could let a loyal STH use?
lol.

if it’s still an issue for the Leicester game (likely) then yep I was thinking of asking them if I can watch from that area 👍

I’ve been able to list mine, and I can also list subsequent games. Can’t see us selling out for the Leicester game though either.
Leicester sold out already and ticket exchange open
