The only thing I would tolerate is a complete remake, faithful to the books, in the correct order and historical context....
starring an unknown young actor prepared to tread a similar path to Daniel Radcliffe and commit to many years of filming.
Or the Anthony Horowitz trilogy which map precisely to the Fleming arc. Again mapped precisely to the era.
Anything else could be fun, good even. But it won't be Bond,
any more than a rubber woman with a photo of your missus stuck to it would be...
