[Albion] Worst refereeing performance since...?

Why was Anderson not booked for simulation for the non-penalty?
Then Anderson stops an impending attack in the second half, still no card issued.
Anderson was soft as shite, slightest touch and he was going down. Totally conman.
This was my gripe. Clear and obvious dive - so book the **** - nothing. Banks was out of his depth.

Shocking ref. We get barely a sniff of a decision all game, then right at the end of the match he suddenly goes penno crazy and awards each team about 5 spot kicks each for what seemed like very little. Madness
weird thing was though that I didn’t see any player being fouled in between each kick

TBH, I'd rather VAR hadn't been there, and they had their penalty. It wasn't a bad enough decision to warrant over-ruling it - and we lost anyway, with our players knackered pre-Villa by having to play an extra pointless half hour.
Besides, if the goal* had stood, it might have spurred us into an effective retaliation (it has happened!)

*I'm assuming that Verbruggen wouldn't have saved the penalty, which would be the sort of bet that the bookies wouldn't be keen on!

The ref was officious and annoying but not biased against one side. I have to say, both sides were doing their (un)fair share of trying to con the officials. Our fans are a bit one-eyed in this regard.
Another ridiculous one from Pedro

The Portuguese Sean Dyche was in his ear for the whole match which might explain why pretty much every 50/50 decision went their way.

He didn't seem that bad to me, I can't think of anything glaring he missed (apart from the penalty, which would certainly have been given on many occasions).

Lots of niggling fouls from both sides and lots of conning attempts made it a hard game to ref.

He didn't really affect the score, unless you count him not giving forest a pen.

Appalling one sided bias. Game was a 50/50 so not even blaming him for the result but my god he was a Forest fan and a half. Maybe part of the gladiators tweeting Luton fan team there?
Ha ha! Maybe you’re biased too? As I said earlier, he was irritating and far too Mr Important but he annoyed both sets of fans.

Added- yes I was there. TBH you’re more likely to get a balanced picture if you’re NOT there.
