Is that what it was? Seriously? Fair enough. A bit of in-stadium explanation wouldn't have gone amiss tho. Most folks were left puzzled and - has to be said - unimpressed
I personally thought it was very clear because Ayari and Minteh immediately ran across and sat down and started eating a banana. (Edit: they had a banana each, they didn’t share a banana, like a sort of homoerotic reenactment of the spaghetti scene out of Lady and the Tramp).

Maybe you couldn’t see from your spot in the stadium?

Infuriating.

The call for handball on Baleba was farcical.
Ref didn't have a clear view, purely based on Gibbs-white appealing for it.

As others have said it wasn't the reason we lost, but it did not allow us to build any momentum

Sorry, but I was watching on television. I think I only saw a couple of replays where I thought the ref may not need to have blown.

There was a LOT going on. Both sides were very physical. Both sides very frustrated with the ref using his whistle.

It's good that folk acknowledge it made no difference to result, but seriously, watch all the challenges and you'll see how difficult it was and how little was got wrong.

Glad the penalty was over-ruled. I could see from the refs angle that it looked like Mitoma had pulled him down with an arched arm. The other angle shows he moved his foot towards the arm and then fell. A very good VAR call. But again, another example of how a ref can be deceived by an angle.

Not sure what the problem folk have with the assistants is though ? I mean, offside is offside.

Respect to your joined-up thought processes which are clearly far superior to my own. All I saw from my spot in the North was a general melee of players downing tools and taking on water. Every day's a school day

It wasn't. Again, I had the benefit of a TV replay. The ball goes on to his shoulder and clearly runs down his arm before he goes to his next movement. No complaints from me or those commentating.

Sussex, by the sea
Seen far worse!
That's not saying much really.

the bar is below hungover dads running the line for thier kids on Sat morning for consistency . . . It's all over the plac.

there's only one set of rules I'm aware of.

Obstruction is still one of them isn't it?

Was easily conned by a falling player. The penalty decision was a disgrace. Not his fault we went out though.
Agree but it was getting there.

He extinguished many of our promising attacks as Forest players dropped time and time again and he seemed to fall for it every time. They got so many cheap free kicks when we were looking dangerous.

I’m afraid it was a clear handball :( sorry :(

He was poor but Forest are good at the playacting so who do you blame more there. It’s still all stuff we have to cope with better and we failed to alas

The Forest players were pretty angry at the free kicks we got in dangerous positions towards the end too. But again, replays showed they were indeed fouls.

When all is said and done it was a limp nervous display with us only really threatening deep into ET.
Too many had disappointing games. Rutter ended on crutches wearing a protective boot and Webster looks like hammy. Not a good day.

Appalling one sided bias. Game was a 50/50 so not even blaming him for the result but my god he was a Forest fan and a half. Maybe part of the gladiators tweeting Luton fan team there?
