Update: They left today, 4 shifts earlier than planned.

It’s quite a confusing story, so I’m just going to list what happened by date. However I’m not entirely sure on the dates so some might be a week out. Also very long post. Sorry.

Wednesday. 27/02: She puts a letter on the Managing Directors desk whilst he’s not there. She then goes upstairs to have her first FaceTime call with an external training lady (no idea what the official term is) that our company provides. You just talk to her about where you want to improve and she tries to help you reach those targets.

After the FaceTime call she leaves for a doctors appointment. Shortly afterwards the M.D arrives, opens the letter and reveals that it’s her notice. General confusion as to why she’s just wasted everyone’s time with the call upstairs when she’s leaving to work in an entirely different field.

Monday 03/03: She doesn’t come to work. She texts the office manager saying she can’t come to work because she’s received a really bad letter and can’t concentrate on anything else.

Tuesday 04/03: Not at work again. M.D getting pissed off. Office Manager then gets a text from the external training lady saying that this lass had text her saying that she feels like her time at the company is over. The external lady suggests to the office manager that he should take her upstairs and get to the bottom of what’s going on. Office Manager explains that nobody has f*cking seen her since Friday so that’s quite a difficult task.

MD has had enough and texts the girl telling her to come in by 2PM and explain what’s going on as a “bad letter” isn’t really an excuse. She comes in at 2 on the dot and then goes for a meeting with MD & OM before going home again.

I later find out that she’s claiming received a letter from HMRC saying that she owes them £7,000. This is for tax she didn’t pay whilst doing some “self employed Amazon delivery driving”. It is at this point that I’d like to refer back to a paragraph in my original message about her for absolutely no reason.

Despite only having 3 days holiday left, as a gesture of goodwill the bosses decide to let her have the rest of the week off to sort stuff out. They however do cancel her holiday which was planned for the 21st, 24th & 25th of March… the eagle eyed amongst you might realise that those dates are very close to today.

The office manager doesn’t believe her story and I might have suggested that if she was selling explicit photos on a website such as OnlyFans that it might explain the 7k debt more than Amazon delivery driver does…

10/03-14/03: I’m off, so no idea if anything funny happened here. I was too busy getting pissed and watching the horses.

Wednesday 19/03: She has to leave a couple of hours early for a doctor’s appointment. After she’s left the companies eBay store gets a notification offering them a discount on some women’s motorbike leathers that we’d shown an interest in. In an office with 1 female & 1 person who rides a motorbike it’s quite easy to figure out who it was.

Office Manager writes her a message on Zoom basically saying that he understands she’s leaving but she needs to focus on work rather than using the company eBay to look for bike leathers.

Thursday 20/03: She phones in sick. She’s had an allergic reaction to her new medication and she won’t be in.

Everyone in the office is fed up with her. I point out that if I was going to pull a sickie on the three days holiday I’d had taken away I’d probably call in sick the day before to make it less obvious. I also point out that the bloke in the warehouse who she’s bonking is off Friday/Monday/Tueaday which I’m sure is a coincidence.

Friday 21/03…

SIKE.

Thursday night she texts the office manager saying that she was being kept in overnight but doesn’t have a phone charger so won’t be able to text him until she gets out of hospital. There’s talk of telling her not to bother coming back but the wages have gone out so we’ll just play it by ear.

Complete radio silence until…

Wednesday 26th

The roles are reversed. The office manager was off sick today and she miraculously appeared from the dead. She goes on to her computer, obviously spots the zoom conversation and something in her snaps.

She goes on to the office managers computer (which isn’t out of the ordinary, if someone’s off we need to check their emails etc) and decides to search through his internet history so she can reply to his message about the bike leathers by saying “well look, you’ve looked on Ladbrokes and Facebook at work so you’re just as bad.”

For reasons I don’t think I will ever understand - the OM had; the day before this happened, searched for “how to find someone on OnlyFans” along with her on Facebook on his work computer. She hits the roof, screenshots and prints out what she’d seen and demands the Managing Director has a meeting with her upstairs.

She presents the evidence, and whilst I was obviously not privy to the whole conversation I have learnt two parts of it

  1. She angrily explains what she had found when she went through the office managers history, to which the managing director replied “why the f*** were you going through his history?” :lolol:
  2. The conversation ended with the managing director telling her to never use us a reference and to get out.

And get out she did, she stormed downstairs, said the company was a f*cking joke, made a point of not saying goodbye to me, slamming the door and driving off as fast as humanly possible.

Office Manager is back in tomorrow. Warehouse bloke who’s bonking the mental **** has said he’s not sure if he’ll be able to work with him again. There’s probably got to be some consequences to searching OnlyFans at work. The girl has a history of attacking companies on social media so there’s that too. We’ve also got two people coming in for interviews. I can not wait for the carnage tomorrow will bring hahahahaha.
When I read stuff like that, I am really grateful I work with normal, happy, committed people! As the good old fashioned employment saying goes, better to have a hole in the team than an arxxhole.

I'd imagine the OM can cover their backside by saying they were tentatively carrying out an investigation into her behaviour outside of work which could bring the company name into disrepute or some such corporate BS.

Gardening Leave would have been a great call!

The “at work” bit may no longer be true but she’s still managing to provide a solid stream of entertainment.

Bloke in the warehouse who’s dating her bought a dog a couple of weeks ago. Completely out of the blue and it’s been causing issues with his mum; who he lives with, ever since. He didn’t consult her before he bought it , one day there was just a puppy in her house. A puppy that shits everywhere during the day and at night, but is constantly out with the bloke and mental bird during the evening when he finishes work. We suspect it was at least partly mental birds idea.

Anyway a mixture of girlfriend and dog aggro lead to the bloke in the warehouse having a heated argument with his mum yesterday.

The girl was there, despite the lad knowing that her and his mum hate each other.

The girl called 101 for advice about some kind of dog based Mexican stand-off.

There was a history of police calls to that address.

Which means the police have to respond to any calls.

Which means the police turn up to their house over a dog.

The bloke is no longer living at home.

I’m not particularly close to him, he’s not the sort of person I’d meet up with outside of work or anything like that. However I really, really hope he stops being blinded by her. Literally everything she touches turn to shite. She’s absolutely f*cking mental.

It’s not quite 100 days in to the year and she’s already upset a small local business so much they had to put out a social media statement about her (which claims they’re not the first company to have issues with her), been told to never use our company as our reference because she was so toxic here & has now inadvertently called the police on this blokes mum and turned his own family against him. It’s almost impressive, you know.
