There needs to be a collection hatch outside facing and loads of picnic style benches and covered gazebos scattered around IMO. If it's not tipping it down you could encourage up to 10k fans to rock up early and enjoy some food and beers.
An outdoor takeaway service would make sense, if the 1k indoor bit is full there will be thousands walking past who would probably pay for a decent burger or whatever, it would be mad to turn away all that passing trade.

Yes. Understand why its Heineken Zero but these days there's so much choice and good quality AF out there. Although i think they are also selling Guinness Zero.
At Lewes FC - they sell cans of this from a local brewery which is vg.
Guinness zero is brilliant. Best AF around in my opinion (although brewdog af is good too and harveys do good low alcohol options as well)

What’s especially brilliant about that street shelter at Saffron Walden County High School is that is where the school swimming pool was, until it was filled it in to construct a 100-person capacity bus shelter.

When the weather is fine, and Saturday may well qualify, The Terrace is stated to have a capacity of 3,000, with 2,000 outdoors.

It's not obvious how this will work - it doesn't feel as though there's sufficient space to cordon off a 2,000-person space.

it will also be interesting to see how the serving of drinks/food scales up when the patronage increases by 200%.

The bit I can't grasp is if the inside capacity is 1000 then surely even when the outside is open for the extra 2000 how do those 2000 physically have room to get inside to buy food and beer if there is already 1000 in there? Or am I missing something?

Juicy AF is to this day the best AF beer I've had, particularly as someone who tends to prefer something more "crafty". Added bonus that it's local.

Dicks Bar was quite good for offering a choice of Harveys, maybe the Fanzone will have similar...if so there might be more scope for their AF option too. Although maybe you'll need an Amex card to try it ;)

You'll be expected to order from your phone or one of the screens which, presumably, are away from the serving area.

Beyond that though, there could be quite a throng of people hanging about waiting for their stuff to be ready - this seems to be a curse in places like McDonalds etc, although the screen-ordering in those kind of places has been retrofitted in, whilst the Terrace has been designed for separate ordering/collection, so I'm sure it's been well considered.

A mate asked for one of those Juicy AF cans when it was my round (he was driving).

It was over 7 quid! More than the pints of premium alcoholic beer in the rest of the round.

Absolute piss take.

Yeah was thinking the same. I'm guessing there must be some sort of barrier to cordon off an outside space for the additional 2000? There must be a way of grabbing food and drink from the outside without battling through the crowds?

The pictures look incredible but it seems pretty tight in there when it's full although this only shows about 2/3rds of the downstairs space I think.

This is possibly going to be a massive ball-ache to get to the game before kick-off or after the game to get down to or past the train station,
