I'm not sure you'd describe Lewes as being particularly competent if you'd been getting the emails to the owners last week changing their mind on a daily basis about a vote to change their structure
I’ll stick this up, they ARE my local club. I won’t be going though.
You really don’t want to get public transport from Newhaven, it’s ages from the station. Watch out with parking as you can’t park on the grass verges and wardens come along during matches and ticket everyone.

I wonder why Non League clubs give reductions to Brighton season ticket holders...
Would have thought one off reductions on Non League day to people who would go every week a better idea ?

So I go with my mate who's an Albion season ticket holder...I pay £18 and have the time to go to all the matches and he pays £5 and won't be there much as he's watching the Albion...

We discussed this at Peacehaven a few years back and although your comment makes sense it was deemed that a lot of Albion fans had NEVER set foot inside their local club and needed an incentive.
Once inside, not only would they be a cash customer at the bar they would also witness first hand, local initiatives, a good atmosphere and a laugh, the opportunity to have a beer pitchside and on occasion some good football. This hopefully would encourage a return visit when The Albion were away or playing on a Sunday, Also if they did enjoy it they’d spread the word.
Another comment is why existing fans don’t get half price but some “Connaught” does?
Again, A lot of the regular fans at clubs like PTFC do care about the clubs finances and want them to do well so generally like to see new faces through the gate even if they have paid half what the regulars have paid,
Admittedly it is a bit of a “lazy” promotion so if you’ve got any better ideas feel free to let them know.

They are asking owners to vote on a funding model where we remain a fan owned club but have another level of fan investors. But this has been put on hold now

A good club but always felt they are over the top with equality and fan ownership issues. We all know the latter is just a way of raising money
No different to league football the more money they raise even at this level the more goes to players.
