According to the BBC stato, England have had 83.5% possession. At least we've got a goal to show for it.

I am enjoying this much more than I thought I would. Looks promising to me and everyone playing well. Foden quiet but he is double marked everytime he gets the ball.

I was going to post about it tomorrow as I'm expecting several squads to be named then but so far Pedro (Brazil), van Hecke and Verbruggen (Netherlands), Adingra (Ivory Coast), and Ayari (Sweden) have been called up. The only players confirmed to be missing out so far are Wieffer, O'Riley, and, of our loanees, Buonanotte and Barco.

The players most at risk of not having enough recovery time before the cup tie are Pedro (facing Argentina at midnight on the 26th), Gomez (would face Colombia at midnight on the 26th), and Estupinan (would face Chile, again at midnight on the 26th). Late on the 25th, Ayari faces Northern Ireland (at 6 pm), Baleba, if called up, Libya (at 7 pm), and Gruda, if called up by the Germany U21s, Spain (at 7:30 pm).
Don’t understand why the South American qualifiers have to be played on the Wednesday, surely they could play on the Monday or even the Tuesday, which would give the players a bit more recovery time

Phil Foden is one of those players who is clearly very good but I struggle to remember him ever doing anything if note in an England shirt. Apparently he has 4 goals, couldn’t tell you about a single one of them.
