Fair enough.
Milner hasn't played for about three years though. Not sure we want another oap permanently shuffling round the treatment room on his zimmer.
Quite which is why a player with a pacemaker seems a better bet for some game time. He also comes across as just as surly as Milner, so ideal replacement

Great player in his day, but time to catch a taxi to Ajax.

We don’t need a sub standard team cast offs. Utd are a joke, send them our castoffs if we have any.

This, his time has passed.
He's still with us !

I agree with the Manchester United thingy. Apparently only a couple of players created more chances than him when he was at Brentford. Pascal type player.

This, his time has passed.
And the time for his type has passed.
The next 'experienced' heads to arrive at the Amex should be 27/8 year olds.
People who can play, as well as be influential in the dressing room.

No idea how good or bad he is these days.
Playing well or playing shit for Manchester United isn't enough to tell if a player is good or not. Its like trying to figure out if someone is a good astronaut through looking at photos of the person in a hammock.

Personally don't think it will happen though. Ajax or a Danish club seems more likely. Brentford the natural move if he decides to stay in England.

Oh - so how do NASA do it then?

Wouldn't be at all excited about it! Lallana worked out pretty well for us, I would say, in playing terms Milner considerably less so - and I think we have enough mature PL experience in the team now without needing to buy someone in purely on account of wanting their experience.
But what do I know? - I wouldn't have signed Milner!
