No doubt if we were to win a trophy, then the Stand or Fall documentary will get updated to include this success, then we can wait another decade or two before they'll finally release it
Ha, sheeple. You still believe there is a documentary about us.

Sports washing gets your whites white and your colours bright.

Worth every penny.

I heard one of the journalists on The Totally Football Show (Daniel Storey, maybe?) giving Eddie Howe all the credit for Dan Burn's late career development. Surely some or most of the credit should go to Potter?
Absolutely. Whether you rate Potter or not, it's hard to deny he made Dan Burn's career. He turned him from a laughing stock of a CB who wasn't particularly rated by fans of L1 relegated Wigan into a solid PL performer at LB. He'd probably be playing at League One level now had Potter not managed him.

Burn does piss me off a bit tbh. He never shows any kind of gratitude to the Albion for making his career and allowing him to leave, which we didn't have to do, always seems intent on getting involved in handbags and crunching our players when he plays us and celebrated that goal against us as if he had scored the winner in the World Cup

If only people listened to people who made more of a fuss about Dan Burn not criticising the treatment of minority groups in the middle east the world would be a better place.

They will dominate the premier league in years to come, it will just take them longer than city because of PSR unless they go down the creative accounting route.
I'm sure they are waiting on the outcome of the City case, to see whether there is anything to stop them from doing it sooner.

It's not a victory that has been bought when you consider they were forced to let Minteh come to us.

I'm not happy with their ownership, but fears of it leading to some kind of footballing dynasty are wide of the mark.

Newcastle are a major club who have won nothing for decades. Their fans are generally a pretty good and resigned lot. I don't get the hate. Although that doesn't change the matter of their repulsive murderous connections behind the scenes.
The fact is, is that they had to let Minteh go, because they HAVE bought their way to success.

I love the city and it’s people, bit ‘meh’ about the club.

The blanket coverage on SSN got too much yesterday, so you know what I did? I turned over and watched Protection on ITV X. Not just the first episode, but all six. I really enjoyed, might appeal to anyone that likes things like Line Of Duty, however as I’m recommending it you’ll probably think it’s shit although I still think that bird from Rita Sue n Bob too is a hottie and she’s about sixty.
We are watching Protection - it’s very good. Watched episode 3 last night and will no doubt do an episode or two this evening. Siobhan Finneran is excellent 😁

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
its going to be 2 weeks as we have no fixtures.

I dont have a problem with it anyway. Delighted it was someone else won and Dan Burn is a great lad who did great for us.

Being owned by the beheaders as owners TRUMPS :) anything positive or good about the club imo, especially as a fanbase they seem to have no problem with it. Having Smug as manager doesn’t help either (and yes I do accept that he’s a good manager)
Don’t disagree but not sure what this “fan base” can actually do. Should they walk away from their club, rip up their STs, not cheer them on or celebrate success?

OK we can hark back to the days when we beat Archer and co but things have changed. Football ownership is so much bigger…… ditto golf, motor racing, cricket, darts, etc.

The average Newcastle fan is probably far more passionate about their club than most other fans.

They're certainly passionate about defending their owners...
