An object example of the old saying that a reputation takes a long time to build, but can be destroyed in a moment.
Even if Musk quit DOGE and blasted off to Mars tomorrow, I doubt Tesla (or Tesler and some co-presidents call it) would bounce back by much.

I do feel sorry for anyone that already owns one., especially if they're getting grief for owning one (unless it's a '25 plate).
This time last year Musk was an eccentric billionaire but now it appears he's a complete & utter nutter, not many people expected it. Well I didn't anyway.

That's 2 reasons for feeling sorry for them then:
A) There were better alternatives when they bought them.
B) They're stuck with them even if the thought of Elon Musk makes their skin crawl.

I was reading a comments section on utube I think the other day about former Democrat voters saying why they switched, one of the most common reasons given was how quickly the establishment flipped on Trump when he first announced he was going to run. Before that he was a media darling loved by "The View" making a couple of appearances, film cameos, hung out with rappers and had a Successful TV show.
The same was predicted to happen to Musk because of reasons Trump had become untouchable. So maybe with the right marketing that may happen, I saw a clip of a Tesla lorry outpacing a diesel one on a hill yesterday.
