You find what you look for. What about all the good stuff that goes on?
You also see what's staring you in the face wherever you look. Unless you want to close your eyes, put your fingers in your ears and go 'La-la-la-la-la' and pretend it's not there.

Which is why I added “on a scale…”
You wrote ‘on a scale never before’ Which implies it’s much worse. Also without stating what the scale is also pretty much meaningless.
1 to 10 or 1 to 100 or logarithmic or linear?
Yes, I am being arsey but not stating a scale is nearly as much as crime as saying someone is giving 110% … the bastards.

Eg

Start parking on verges, destroying what was once green and pleasant and blocking wheel and pushchairs? (“Their problem, not mine”)

Just abandon my car in road or forecourt to get a coffee, causing huge tailbacks / not allowing people to get throw or round - I mean, I put the hazard lights on whilst I went to get it so you can hardly accuse me of lacking consideration!

Throw litter on ground - someone else will pick it up for me / I pay my council tax (honest!)

Park in disabled spaces without a blue badge - after all, “I’m only going to be half an hour”

Not pay for any public transport, just use and if I get stopped I’ll just assault whoever as they’ve no right to physically stop me

Shoplift from supermarkets because the owners “can afford it”

Do whatever I want, wherever because I have my rights and responsibilities are for losers

Order stuff and claim it’s damaged / didn’t arrive so I get to keep

Go on holiday with my ill gotten gains

Basically lie and cheat at everything to get ahead and in the pursuit of money knowing I can then buy my way out of any situation and screw everyone else who’s life I’ve devastated?

…Just some of the now rampant everyday occurrences I’m observing on a scale like never before. It’s everywhere, and seemingly everyone.
There are a lot of things you could add to the list , bikes without lights , bike theft etc. To balance it up I would add irresponsible politicians who don't and could never deliver on promises. need to have more places of correction in my opinion.

And let your dog shit on the floor because you’re a sadly bastard with no friends (well, one best friend) to let kids tread in it and walk it through the house that costs too much money every month.
Yep as a dog person myself, crossed the road a few weeks back and gave the scum bag who was happy to leave his dog’s excrement on the pavement and gave him a poo bag, he was quite literally lost for words

You're probably lucky not to have got a mouth-full of abuse, or even assaulted.

Covered in detail by non-right wing Nicky Campbell and Shelagh Fogarty many times, including by SF last week. With experts.

Littering is worse over any time in living memory. NC has mentioned politely asking people to pick up their litter in the stunning Outer Hebrides and being told to f*** off ya cu* t. Young adults and teens brazenly play loud music on public transport … with the look I dare anyone to challenge me, you’ll get your face rearranged. Stealing disability badges, fraudulent use of other peoples, able bodied folk parking in disabled bays. Blatant shoplifting by gangs, even security guards told not to intervene. Shop managers/staff in the lockdowns talked about non face mask wearers breaking the law, invariably blokes into weight training, hoping someone challenged them ... we were told of fights. Abuse to retail staff at record levels now. Sauce: their trade union.

An undercurrent of 10% of Brits? who don’t care about society or others. Not an age group thing, I’ve seen some incredibly rude middle age blokes in shops, my daughter when working in Sainsbury’s faced abuse from that cohort.

For daring to suggest - or imply - that he should clear up after his dog instead of walking away and leaving the shit there for someone else to tread in.
I’d did the risk assessment, I would have been fine 😉

Just leave your shopping trolley next to your car after you have been shopping

Prison is too good for these types.
eeek. I have to admit to doing that yesterday. I wouldn’t/don‘t normally doing this but i had parked up, gone into garden centre to buy a few bags of rotten horse shite and when lifting the last sack i pulled my back badly. Twinges, spasms etc. it was as much as I could do to get my arris on the seat let alone walk 100 metres there and 100 metres back in order to return my trolley. Can I ever be forgiven for such a deed?

So you’re physically incapable of walking 200 metres yet you decide you’re okay to drive a car.

Brilliant.
