[Albion] Tuchel announces his first England squad tomorrow, are we expecting any Brighton players to make the cut?..

I’m talking about ability, not attitude. He’s shown you can make a career by being tall and trying hard although my opinion is probably influenced by knowing what kind of person he really is.
Bet you didn’t rate Crouch either?

Dan Burn just scored, got MOM and won a cup final against one of the best teams in the world. Surely you have to have very decent “ability” to pull all that off? Let alone be chosen to play in the first place.

And are you going to let us know what you “know” about Dan Burn ?

All I can say is that if you think Dan Burn is the least talented footballer to play for us during the Premier League era, then football isn’t for you and you should find another sport.

Saying that, I don’t know “what kind of person he really is” having never met him.

And yet…

Many also doesn't do it, since people doing hard physical work are exempted.

Imo what is happening for Liverpool is that they haven't rotated much this season and are now paying for it. Salah isn't the only one looking done. Think they'll be very beatable until the end of the season and limp over the goal line to win the PL.

Can't watch due to region restrictions. What did he say?
He is asked what was 'missing' before, in what he saw watching England.

He answers: "..the rhythm, the repetition of patterns..." but also "..the freedom of players..." (which don't seem to really tally with each other, to me).

Unusual that a manager throw the predecessor under the bus rather than go "I don't know, I wasn't around" or "we look at the challenges ahead".

I'm coming round to the idea of not having an Englishman in charge is a good thing. He can be one step removed from all the emotion and bullshit that goes with England. Why would he be 'afraid' of losing to the point of prioritising that over winning, which is what Southgate ended up doing, apart from his professional pride he walks away.

So for him he is coming from a starting position of 'win' rather than 'do not lose'. That's a big mindset change.

Pretty much that England were playing to not lose, whereas he wanted them to be playing expecting to win. Came across quite well, I thought, bearing in mind that my only previous impression of him was as the manager of some chav team not very far from Brentford.

MGW reportedly left out of the squad taking on Albania - along with Quansah and Ramsdale. I'd rather use him than Foden on current form
