SickAbsolutely magic stuff in that second half from Cash. Unlucky to go behind against a very poor Aveley side in the first half. We rarley make it easy
Puts the pressure on the rest of the chasing pack playing tomorrow. Up the Worthing![]()
Looking through the list of names in the squads selected, Charlie Wakefield is a former Albion academy player. He is the son of Mark (himself a former Albion apprentice in the 80's). Charlie moved to Chelsea at U-13 level and has played mostly non-league (with a handful of League One appearances).
Also, one of the players selected is referred to in the listings I've seen as "Jami Kheresi". It is actually Jaami Qureshi, former Albion scholar!
Very much trying to keep a calm head until the Truro game on April 5th right now. Lot of twists and turns left, plus we'll have played our game in hand at Hornchurch by then as well. But yesterday was certainly massive in terms of other results going our way.I don’t want to get ahead of myself but when Truro are leading in the 94th minute and lose 3-2 you start to wonder if this year is the year…

Given their reported capacity of 4151, is this because of segregation and the size of their away area? You’d think they’d want to change things for the game to maximise revenue. And am I right in thinking many matches go unsegregated? I see Enfield final day is 2500 capacity so will that be an issue getting tickets when they go on general sale? CheersResults not going our way tonight.
The thought of Eastbourne & Dorking over Easter gets worse and worse every week
Haven’t got a ST so going to have to try and go to every home gsme possible between now and Easter because those Eastbourne away tickets are going to be gold dust.
Most Borough games are indeed unsegregated. I don't think they'll be able to get more than 4000 in there as I've been to games where it's been 3000 and it's already felt tight.Given their reported capacity of 4151, is this because of segregation and the size of their away area? Cheers. Hoping to get tickets for Enfield away on the final day regardless of whether there’s anything to play for. Most Borough games are indeed unsegregated. I don't think they'll be able to get more than 4000 in there as I've been to games where it's been 3000 and it's already felt tight.
Borough normally only get between 1-1500 a game, I can't see all 4000 tickets being sold.

Looks like no segregation for April 18th and tickets on sale now and just bagged mineThe EB home v Worthing FA cup tie in September last season was segregated however the League fixture on New years day wasn't

Also a little surprised there wasn't at least a home/away option for buying tickets (as we offer) in case they wanted to segregate at a later point. As you say, we will absolutely bring numbers for that game given what could be at stake. Wouldn't want to put too high a number on it - there is a fair amount of the Woodside crowd who probably wouldn't even travel as far as Lancing to a game because it's not right on their doorstep in the town. Maybe that's just my scepticism from remembering the days when 400-500 was considered a good Saturday crowd, I'd loved to be proven wrong and we truly take over Priory Lane for the day!Assumed the fact it’s a Sussex derby, on a bank holiday, one of the last games of the season & currently 1st v 3rd would mean it was guaranteed segregation.
Happy to be wrong though, 3 tickets purchased and a few more of my group grabbing some later today. Wouldn’t be surprised to see close to (if not over) 1000 Worthing fans making the journey if tickets are snapped up quick enough.
Could be some serious egg on face for Eastbourne if they’re still in the fight for top spot by then. A promotion 6 pointer and 1/3 of the crowd are away fans…
Given my voice was almost gone from the singing near the end game, it wasn't quiet from where I was stoodThe stadium, new stand is pretty cool, the fans were fairly quite to be honest, maybe that was nerves but when they went two nil up and looked very comfortable I thought a bit of noise might be generated but nope. Lewes and Whitehawk more noise than Worthing fans, quite disappointed in that, did i just catch them on a bad day ?
Just started taking my son to watch Burgess Hill and we both love it. Turn up at ten to three get a drink and some chips, talk to the players it’s a great afternoon at the fraction of the cost of a league game and a lot less hassle planning and getting to. I think if they could market it right they could get some really good crowds.Burgess Hill got back to winning ways with a 5-0 thumping of Hythe Town yesterday. Could have been a lot more if it wasn't for some fine saves by their keeper and some wasteful finishing by Hill. Third place looks nailed on, can they catch Sittingbourne who lost unexpectedly yesterday. And it was freezing at Leylands Park.
