Some of the comments under the vid are interesting, comparing this in a sensible way with the Johnny Cash cover. .
One comments:
"The Johnny Cash version is like someone giving you the song on CD and saying "Don't play this until I've passed away, then you'll understand why I recorded it." The NIN version is like finding a dead body, with this song found on a CD in their bedroom."
Aside from the mix, (just turn up the NIN version and wait till the singing stops - oh my), just one word changes the flavour. Cash:
