Even if hypothetically the AfD were the majority seat party they'd be unlikely to be able to govern. No other party will enter into a coalition with them. Not even the CDU would dare. There's enough in that party to backlash were that ever suggested. Merz had his fingers burnt just a few weeks back when he dangled the idea of a loose arrangement with the AfD to get an anti immigration bill passed.

I was implying that the poster who first brought the incident to the site's attention, would quickly lose interest in it - now that the perpetrator has been identified as a far-right German headcase, as opposed to a different flavour of headcase.
