Ironically with Chelsea’s FFP position, RDZ is potentially going from one selling club to another. Albeit Chelsea only temporarily. “We sold our players and didn’t sign anyone” etc etc

If this is the case, I think Potter actually did it with more class because he was at least up front about it. This - if it happens - is just plain sneaky, and we gave him a hero's goodbye and begged him to stay (no wonder Bloom & Barber were looking on unimpressed). Makes me feel sick actually!!
Makes me feel groomed, if true.

He will probably help them, put his arm around Palmer and tell everybody he deserves på play on a higher level…

If he goes straight to Chelsea, all tge stuff about agreeing with Tony about transfer policy wae bullshit and he just left for the money.

He did it with more class, but ultimately I'll remember him as having left in a haze of bullshit
Allusion of the year. I salute you

What FFP? Sold the hotel last year, part of the training ground this year, and they've kept 4/5 of the training ground left to sell for future revenue streams!

Disappointed if he does go there as it’s them and I fear he will do well there.

Although it’s a “mutual” exit feels a bit too convenient for me
It would just be bloody typical if he went there! He'd do well and it'll feel like he's sticking 2 fingers up at Bloom/Barber and us although he's a free agent and I'm sure Roberto isn't that kind of bloke.

Yesterday Chelsea probably became the first English team to be knocked out of the Europa League without playing a match.

Not a chance.

He's not that good of a manager. It's become apparent that GP was the superior manager all along.

The Premier League couldn't handle RDZ when he first joined us, picking up GPs momentum with his ambitious football and firing us in to Europe.

In the 2nd season teams just learnt from experience how to defend against us. He essentially got found out and didn't have a plan B.

The same will happen at Chelsea. He will be sacked before Christmas, I absolutely guarantee it.

GP however will join us and have a willingness to learn and adapt. Something that the rigid, stubborn RDZ never had, and was his downfall here and will be his downfall at Chelsea.
You see, I think he will do well at Chelsea if he gets offered the job. They have a wealth of talent and will buy more. Poch got them playing some good stuff last 2 months of season and Roberto will relish the chance.

Interestingly, that hotel transaction is yet to be ratified by the PL as legitimate market value, and neither is the one for the training ground land.

And even if the PL accept it, UEFA may not.

Beside the possibility of Chelsea flourishing under RDZ, I am not looking forward to even more “he left ‘cause you’re shit” (and “he left ‘cause you’re gay”) chants.

Roberto wants the job according to reports and believes he will lead them to silverware.
Silvertown more like. There is a fantastic Chinese supermarket nearby. Bought some amazing durian there 12 years ago.

Onya (Todd) must be so excited by the prospect of this:

Lots of people judging Potter by his shortcomings when he was here last.
That is understandable but a lot has happened since then , for him and the club.
He is an intelligent guy and will probably come back a different manager.
And he will be refreshed.
It would be a strong choice imo. Although hopefully we will find somewhere even better.

Absolutely not!
