Plenty of Albion fans have overseas holidays booked for this period. In complete contrast to this time last year, when no one wanted to miss a thing.
A very long run of hugely losses/draws meant that a raft of fans mentally ditched this season.

In the first instance, a STHer is actively purchasing tickets for guests and agreeing to T&Cs whilst doing so. The club can limit how many can do this, and for which games, and has a record of exactly when it happens.
If you pass on a ticket to a random, it's a casual arrangement which the club would know nothing about, and can't monitor. It loses control.

Surely you should be hoping even more then that the convention of concessions for pensioners continues long into the future. We all get old one day.

For our part, my MIL and I are making the trip down from London for this. Fully prepared for the possibility we'll be sharing the train back with a bunch of smug Chelsea fans but hopeful it'll be us with the smug expressions

You may recall last season we played Man Utd at home on Thursday 4th May with an 8pm kick off, when we were chasing 6th place and on a fantastic run.
I’m wondering if we had 2000+ ‘empty’ seats on the exchange for that game
