League Two Play-Off Final: Crawley Town vs Crewe Alexandra (Sunday 19th May, 13:00)
Crawley Town will be representing Sussex at Wembley Stadium in the League Two play-off final - with the winning club getting promoted to League One. They face Crewe Alexandra, who defeated Doncaster Rovers on penalties in the play-off semi-final. Crawley beat MK Dons in the semi-final with an aggregate result of 8-1.

It's a shame this match is on the same date Brighton plays against Manchester United, but you can watch Crawley beforehand on Sky Sports or ESPN.

Very annoying that this is the same day as premier league games, thought the play offs were the bank holiday weekend usually

Crawley have initially been allocated 20,000 tickets but can claim up to 38,000

20,000 will probably do them

I noticed at the League trophy thingy final, Peterborough and Wycombe sold about 16,000 each.

Plenty will jump on the bandwagon to add to Crawley’s bad name as historically a few Herbert’s have lived there including two Palace brothers that liked to start it all, one of Chelsea’s main lunatics (and he was) not to mention a notorious Millwall face. (Having said that, this was the mid 80s mind)

I struggle to want Crawley to do well as I think they refused to let us use their stadium when the Goldstone was sold by Archer and Stanley. Should I let it go or carry on being vindictive?
Wasn’t that the council not the club? Be interesting to know if it was Tory or Labour back then who took that decision.

The club itself have happily given a home to Brighton for many years now

Not this old chestnut. Why does this myth persist? How many times…??!

It was the council not the football club.

No. I get it, I certainly lost interest in them when they came into the league but I’ve got family that support them and as it’s Wembley and my first match I saw them was at Woodford, I’m sure there’s a song there somewhere.

Having said that, I’ll be at The Amex

After the pile on for me thinking Crawley rather than the local council stopped the Albion playing there I dislike them even more. Come on Crewe
