And the far right are already weaponising it.

Not sure replacing their old anti semitism with outright homophobia is progress.

I didn't think Israel's song had anything going for it, and it received a lot of votes purely from people who wanted to support Israel's cause. The UK public gave it top marks.

The UK song should have been renamed 'Cottaging to Music'!

Careful, looking back earlier in this thread and you'll be called out for homophobia.

I totally appreciate that Eurovision has always been a bit daft with a fair dollop of camp and that's fine. However, last nights show at times ramped it up to unacceptable levels which made me squirm a little and even more so when my kids queried all the crotch touching in the English entry. I'm neither prudish or homophobic and would be equally concerned if the male and female dancers were over the top.

So - in summary - we need more "tongue in cheek", and less "cock in cheek"?

Quite bizarre that someone like Tommy Robinson should get *that* bothered about something that is, in the nicest possible way, just a bit of fun with some questionable music, presenting and scoring systems. It's almost as if he's using the latest 'culture war' targets to get his fans frothing. In that moany tweet he comes across as the the type of person he would lable a 'snowflake'.

Berk.

With hindsight, Israel should have gone with Dana International again. The confusion would have been incredible.

“‘Ere, Tom, am I allowed to vote for a tranny?”

I posted last night that a female singer was fanny-grabbing herself.

I raised an eyebrow.

Are you a member of TommyRobinsonWatch now? Or do you still have a few old right wing mates who feed your their nonsense?

(Just wondering how you stumbled across Yaxley-Lennon's latest bit of old bollox. I'd forgotten he was still alive).

My biggest disappointment was Cyprus and Greece not giving each other 12 points. It’s normally a given and ruined the evening for me.
And the former soviet republics giving each other Dvenadtsat' ochkov

The prize was an all expenses paid holiday to Washington DC.

Bad luck everyone.

Will Crodo be there too as his prize for winning the sweepstakes he arranges? Any talk of “dodgy” is just sour grapes

It did feel a bit much to me for a Eurovision performance and I'd imagine that some of the more traditional parts of Europe wouldn't have received it well.

But I'd make the point that we've seen raunchy dancing between male-female partners every year without complaint. The difference is that it was only men in this performance.

Switzerland are doing that right now. Their banks are hiding billions of dollars of ill-gotten gains. Now. They’re not being called out because they’re quite important to world economics, unfortunately.

Let’s face it, all these songs are shit.
What’s your evidence that they are "hiding" billions of dollars for the Russians? They openly disclosed that they have 7 billion of Russian money frozen, in line with EU financial reporting requirements. I’m presuming that other Russian assets are also held in other countries too. What are these 'hidden' billions and how do you know about them? The days of secret unnumbered Swiss bank accounts are long gone.

If they are secret and unnumbered, how would you know this is not still ongoing?

As said last night, this is what will ultimately truly start the European war to come
