Surely not ?

Albion - 47 points

Newcastle (A)
Chelsea (H)
Man Utd (H)

Max Points : 56
GD -4

Max Points

Them - 43 points

Wolves (A)
Villa (H)

GD -8

Max Points: 49

I think the only scenarios are :
- Palace win both - Albion lose all three - Palace: 49, Albion 47
- Palace draw one, win one - Albion lose all three - Palace overtake us on GD - Palace 47 , Albion 47

It’s been reported that the Ref in last night’s game was fitted wit a Camera, with footage to be used in a program about refereeing airing later this year.

I wonder if as a result the players adjusted their vocal approach to the referee as a result?

Has an air of the 2017 promotion run in about it and I'm not convinced that we'll bragging rights just yet.

Hard to see Palace in form with most of their key players back fit not getting 4 points from 2. We need to beat Manchester United i think. Or less likely, one of the others

Palace will finish above us again at some point, but not this year.
We already have 6 of the 3 points I predicted we'd win when we had 10 games left. I'm predicting we will add another 0 to that, which, given my prediction history, will leave us comfortably above them.

What?

My Palace mate offered to pay up the annual bet we have (£20) a few months ago as to who finishes highest.
100% this is going to the last game but I believe we will beat United.

My Palace colleague wouldn't do our traditional £20 bet this season... until I offered him a 2-place handicap. Grrr!

Nah. We'll get more than 0 points.

For one thing, if Man United play anything like last night we'll beat them comfortably, even with our scoring troubles.

I'm confident we'll find more points this season and finish above them.

The question is about next season. Are they a coming force or just on a new manager bounce? Will they lose Eze and or Olise? Can we keep the upper hand on them for next season?

Beat all 3 who sit above us currently, and there's a slim chance we could nick 7th, it's slim yes but it's mathematically possible! This must be the incentive the players want going into the game at Newcastle, it's the hope that kills you.

I just hope they sell Eze and Olise and fritter the money away in the summer like they normally do. Then they'll stay below us for the foreseeable.

Makes a mockery of all the hype around us this season, and demonstrable evidence (if any was needed) of the cliff we’ve fallen off in the 2nd half of the season.

For anyone worried about Chelsea’s current form, please take a look at their last 6 results away from the Bridge!

Hardly setting the World on fire!

I fancy us to get something from both of our remaining home games.

It’s Chelsea. It’s us. They’re in form. We’re not. They’ve a golden boot contender…

On what basis are you so optimistic? Even if they were doing dreadfully, we’re the club everyone turns to reverse the tide. We’re like the AA for other teams misfortune.

Funny that’s what Villa fans said about themselves before our game on Sunday. Brighton haven’t scored or won for ages we will give them a Christmas present no doubt🤣
